Our home is nicely redone and was built in 1838. The address is 733 US route 1 Stockton Springs Maine, it’s on the way to Bar Harbor and other prime locations.
It has 3 bedrooms upstairs, dining room, living room, kitchen, large mud room and a bath. The sun porch on the front of the home faces, Penobscot Bay with a large slider door that will take you on the deck also facing the bay. The property is on a large lot and is fairly private, if you want to have a fire in the firepit, or a family gathering. There is a couch on the sunporch and one in the living room for extra guests as necessary. Sandy Point Beach is just down the road and is one of Maine's best kept secrets. Its extremely private and especially at low tide, you have lots of room to explore. Fort Knox and the Observatory are 3 miles away and Bucksport, Maine is 7 minutes up the road. This is a great stop on the way to Bar Harbor and is about 30 miles from Mount Desert Island. Belfast, Maine is 20 minutes away and Searsport, Maine is 10 minutes down the road. Whenever we visit the home, we hate to come home. Hopefully, you will feel the same way.
