Wonderful condo with great lake access

This property was perfect for our family getaway to the lake! We enjoyed the amenities (including for small children) and the water.

Excellent condo

This is one of our favorite condos at Bernard’s Landing! Well stocked, great location, updated decor, large wrap around deck. We had a wonderful stay!

Beautiful view from the deck. Relaxing for morning coffee or evening cocktail. The cove is excellent for wake boarding, skiing, tubing and paddle boarding. Napoli restaurant nearby is excellent. The lake is historically low this year so if you bring a boat and dock at the day dock be prepared to jump from pier down to the dock. Bernard’s landing boat ramp is a challenge because of the low lake level. The owner is great. Responsive and answers questions.

We had a great time at Smith Mountain Lake and at this condo. The water access was outstanding and the condo was clean and comfortable . The owners are responsive and leave excellent instructions for renters. The sunsets and views are lovely!

Relaxing Lake Vacation

We had a wonderful time. Rented a boat and docked it right near the property. Very quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful Views

We loved our stay and how easy it was to communicate with the owners. I think we raved most about the kitchen and the amount of pots, pans and bakeware available for our use. And of course we loved the view

Great Lake Getaway

Great condo on quiet cove. Well stocked with everything you need. Lovely view of the lake and mountains from the swing on the porch. Nice big tables for family dinners inside and out.

Overall the property was good. Beds and bathrooms were clean upon arrival. We were disappointed that the floors and kitchen had not been cleaned. Supplies was out as if the cleaning person had planned to do them and got sidetracked and did not. I cleaned them before unpacking. Rooms and such were as described. My boys loved the loft bedroom and arcade game. This is our third year staying at Bernard’s Landing, first year at this property. We love the amenities Bernard’s offers especially if it rains and it is so nice to have the boat right outside on the dock.

We really appreciate this feedback. We have never had this problem previously. We have contacted our cleaning company. They were very apologetic and told us the new employee had been let go. Our cleaning company assured us this would never happen again. We are sorry we did know about this sooner.

Amazing week on SML

We enjoyed our week at Bernard’s Landing. David’s 3 BR 3 Bath condo was perfect for 3 couples. Amazing condo and lake view. We hope to come back next year.

Wonderful Property and Location on the Smith Mountain Lake

We rented Lazy Days (three couples) and could not have been any happier with the property and location. Condo was just as pictured, clean and well stocked. Location was beautiful and the view of the lake amazing. We rented a Pontoon Boat from Bernard's Boat Rental to use while there and it was absolutely perfect. First time at Smith Mountain Lake and Bernard's Landing, but will be returning for certain. Highly recommend

Perfect condo for a week on the lake. Easy boat ramp and water access. House was clean and had everything needed. If you bring your own boat or PWC, you do need to pay a daily fee and get stickers, which can be done ahead of time or when you arrive. Dock access is very convenient too. Lots of amenities included at the club house, but the water was so alluring we didn’t use any! Quiet neighborhood. We will return!

Do it!

This is a lovely condo overlooking the water. We enjoyed sunrise breakfasts on the balcony & watching boats in the bay. Traffic was light so road running was enjoyable. We docked our boat right next to the condo so it was really, really convenient. The water at the dock is deep enough that we could keep our trim down the entire time. The water must be high in iron because there’s a red tinge, but that doesn’t deter water sports or swimming. Overall - go for it. This is a nice place in a quiet setting with responsive owners.

Beautiful condo, loved the end unit with wrap around deck for sun, shade, breeze or covered area to get out of the rain as needed. Kitchen is small, but well furnished, new microwave, dishwasher, a pantry for your own storage and electric grill on the deck. We were a 3 generation family, grandkids upstairs, adults down, lots of space for everyone. Check in - the exact code instructions are on the first email confirmation, not the later ones. I confused myself by losing track of which email to access. My fault.

Beautiful and clean are the best ways to describe the property.

The property is well kept with beautiful views of the lake and mountain. We would strongly recommend to get or bring a boat as the lake is huge with hundreds of coves and sights. Shopping is about 15 minutes away and has movies, golf, Kroger etc. Do you like to fish? Then you better to get ready!

Nice inside and out, right on the lake, easy access to facilities.

Very nice unit. Clean inside and out. nice deck, well equipped, owners very responsive. All rooms have smart TVs. This was our first time to this part of the lake. We had to leave early for personal reasons, so we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked, but what we saw looked nice. Plan on returning.
