The Getaway Cabin, near Lake Texoma

Log cabin ~10 minutes south of Lake Texoma and Eisenhower State Park. Less than one hour from Dallas, Plano, Allen, Frisco, etc. Near Lake Texoma, but only ~2 miles from Walmart should you need anything, and several restaurants if you want to eat out. ~20 minutes to Choctaw Casino.

Enjoy the rocking chairs on the wrap around porch, or relaxing inside this log cabin getaway. Picnic table and fire pit outside for enjoying the outdoors and time away from the city.

4 bedrooms and 7 total beds provides enough space for up to 10 guests.

Pond that is pictured is on neighboring property and does not have fish, sorry. No fishing allowed there.

Great place to stay! Very secluded! The gameroom is a great add on and the hosts were great to work with. Would definitely recommend this property!

Getaway Cabin

This property is a definite must. Secluded yet easy access to everything you need. Relaxing atmosphere and plenty of activities on property to do. Would definitely repeat the stay and will share with others.

Lovely Cabin with Great Amenities

We enjoyed our stay so much! Beautiful cabin: nicely decorated; gas fireplace; great kitchen; game room with pool table; propane grill; fire pit surrounded by seating; rockers on wrap-around porch; everything we needed! Enjoyed it all!

Perfect birthday weekend house!

The house was so pretty inside and out! They provided a speaker, came in handy because we forgot ours. The layout is great. My friends and I had a blast surprising my friend for her birthday at this house.

What a great cabin!!!

Really loved the stay. The extra play room in the garage was perfect. There were a few things that fell a little into the negative category; was closer to a main road than expected. Prefer to be out of close hearing range of traffic; no place to put our dry good foods; and can really hear a lot through the walls/floor. None of these put any kind of damper on enjoying our stay. Love the set up, the decor and they great response time from you. Don't be surprised if you hear from us again to plan our next stay. Thanks for everything!

Happy 50th Baby Boy

great for families with varied ages. The garage with pool table and games was a big hit with the younger group...got away from the adults.. close to town. close to lake and loved the front porch lined with rocking chairs. Everything we needed kitchen wise was in the cupboards. Only complaint was that most of the pots and pans had to be washed before use ....probably washed in dishwasher that did not remove the crusties.

The Getaway was just perfect

We loved our stay for our family reunion gathering in Durante! Easy location and access for my family members to rest and relax after a day of events in Durante. The setting was so seclusion fed and quiet. The house itself fit all of our needs. We came from CA, AZ and TX for just my family so it was perfect for a sub-family reunion as well.

Great Location! Equipped for Fun!

The Get Away Cabin is close to everything but feels like you're away from it all! Lots to do with fire pit, games, pool table. Had some minor issues but host was very responsive. Communiation was friendly and helpful through the entire process. Hope to stay again!

Beautiful Cabin with Games Galore!

After reviewing several different cabin properties to find a special location to host my niece's wedding, we chose "The Getaway" because of the perfect mix of the gorgeous cabin to accommodate a large group and the game room that provided hours of great fun and entertainment! The wedding was held under the small pavilion on the property and the reception inside the large cabin with great photo opportunities everywhere. Aaron the host was always quick to respond to any questions and helpful with both check in and out. We could not be more satisfied and appreciative of the memories made during our stay!

Great Getaway!

We had a very relaxing long weekend. The house is nice. We didn't realize that the living room was a sunken living room and one person in our party had hip replacement surgery about 41/2 weeks ago so that was a slight problem. The house has everything you would need. The game room in the garage was a great bonus! The owner texted us to see if we needed anything. This cabin is not handicap accessible. We really enjoyed our time there!

Great stay!!

Guy trip for golf and fishing! Perfect location, close to boat docks, and golf courses, casino was about 20 minutes away, the house was perfect for us! And had all the extras we could have asked for! Pool table and corn hole boards were great! We had a blast! Thanks Aaron for answers to all my texts, I plan to bring my family here next time.

Loads of fun!

This property was everything that our family needed for our weekend vacation! Plenty of room for all 9 of us to spread out with room left over! From the video games to the pool table and games in the garage, down to the wrap around porch we all enjoyed our stay! Close to plenty of stores and restaurants to grab whatever you need. The property manager was wonderful and checked in with me a few times to see if there was anything we needed. We would definitely choose this property again if we come to the area!

What a Great Place!

What a great property! We only stayed two nights but wished we’d have stayed longer. Loved sitting on the porch looking at the pond and vineyard. We can’t wait to come back. Plus the owner told me of a lot more improvements to come. We are planning an extra long weekend with family in the summer! Great qetaway lodge!

Great place to enjoy a getaway with family or friends!

Enjoyed our stay, just wish we could have stayed longer. Very clean and well maintained, it was even nicer than the few available pictures showed. My contact with the host answered all questions that we had and he also mentioned they will be posted more pictures soon. We will definitely be going back!
