House was so great, with ample rooms, bathrooms for a large group. The location was just a very short walk to gorgeous beach you could walk for miles. Had all you could need in kitchen for meals and a very nice view in dining area. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Great Location, Fantastic house for Kids

We stayed here for a little family gathering and had an amazing time! The room with the bunk beds was fantastic for the kids to play in! The short walk to fortune rocks beach was very nice!

Perfect Vacation Stay

The home was perfect - clean, spacious, decorated beautifully. The location was just a few feet to the most beautiful beach, just as advertised. We loved our week there and look forward to coming back soon!

The house was perfect!

Everything about the experience was great! The house was the right size and was able to meet our needs. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect. This is our second year coming and are planning to come again.

Great Place

We stayed here with family for a graduation. Property was perfect for our sized group. The property manager was quick to respond to our questions or requests. Will stay here again.

Great house for a big family vacation

Three generations stayed comfortably. Very well equipped kitchen for making Christmas dinner. Short walk down to the beach with lovely views from the master bedroom.

Great spot for active families

Well located a short walk to the beach and close to many amenities, three families of teens and tweens enjoyed the ocean and independence getting to and fro. A couple parents had to put in a few hours of work, and the desks/workspaces were helpful for this. Lovely house, definitely recommend!

Family Fun

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was very spacious, clean, and well stocked. The short walk to the beach was terrific and the beach was never crowded. It was short drives to Lobster, mini golf, hiking, gin distillery, and local brewery. We had 10 people and would recommend this property to large extended families.

Getting Back to Our Roots

This property was perfect for our family. It has a bunk room for the kids to grow into, 4 bedrooms for adults and/or the young couples and enough bathrooms(3) for all. The open kitchen, living and dining room accommodates all our fun easily. Additionally the extended deck offers room for cocktails and dining el fresco with classic views. The backyard is big enough for frisbee or corn hole (provided by the house) for after hours. And the best for last, it's steps away from the beach. It's also close to Portland or Kennebunkport or South on Route 1 for shopping on rainy days. I grew up in this area and have returned every summer for over 20 years. We've rented many places, but this one is our favorite. By the end of our week, we leave exhausted having filled every minute soaking up all Maine offers.

Great Family Fun!

This was our fourth weeklong summer stay. The home and property are beautifully maintained. There are plenty of activities in the area including fresh lobster, mini golf, shops, breweries, and more. The beach is a very short walk and not very crowded. Our three-generation family of 10 had plenty of space inside and outside. We're already looking forward to next summer.

Awesome house and yard in a fantastic location!

Every year our five old college buddies get together for an annual guitar camp. This Fortune Rocks house was fantastic! It had everything we needed. The all glass dining room was the perfect way start the day with morning coffee and breakfast. The kitchen was well equipped for our gourmet chef buddy. The beds were comfortable and the large glassed enclosed tile shower was a treat. Cape Porpoise is conveniently located for nature hikes, great restaurants, and Portland attractions/events. The guys all agreed that we’d come back to this house next time guitar camp is in southern Maine.

This large updated house was perfect for our large family get-together. We had a total of 9 people who rotated in and out during the week, and there was plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable and have privacy. The house is in a lovely setting, on a fresh-water pond which we accessed with kayaks, and a two minute walk to beautiful Fortune's Rocks beach. Lovely water views from the house. House was very well equipped with towels, beach equipment, and toys and a crib for our toddler. One of the best equipped kitchens I've seen in a short term rental, even the knives were sharp. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a rental for a large group.

Best vacation house ever!

We had the best time here! Not only is the view lovely, the house is in pristine condition. All the beds were comfortable as were the couches. We had a small issue with the water smelling like sulfur and they sent the plumber out the next day and fixed it. Honestly this is the best property I’ve ever stayed at and we all would love to come back.
