This beautiful rental features direct access to the stunning Rainbow River with steps right to the water. Spend your time enjoying the outdoors with our picnic table set, lawn chairs, wood burning firepit, and barbeque grill. The river is full of interesting things to do, like kayaking, boating, snorkeling, diving, floating, swimming and watching nature. This cozy home is perfect for large families, multiple families or just a couple's retreat. The master suite with river views includes a king size bed, walk in closet, and a bathroom complete with a large soaking tub and separate shower. The three guest bedrooms include a queen, a queen and two single beds. The living space seats six, dining table seats six, and a snack bar that seats two. The L shaped kitchen is equipped with a standard fridge, electric oven/stove, dish washer and dishes/ cooking ware. The home includes WIFI and two TVs with Roku.

The town of Dunnellon is only 5 miles away which offers a great historic district full of quaint little shops and unique eateries. Five miles downriver is the Withlacoochee River, a favorite of fisherman and airboat riders.

River Weekend

This was a cute, clean and comfortable home away from home. The private river access and crystal clear water of the Rainbow River was wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a weekend!

Great location!

Beautiful property in a great location for canoeing and kayaking to head springs. We enjoyed snorkeling and floating down the river to the house from the spring. Unfortunately the beds were not comfortable and there was no covered area facing the river where you could enjoy the outside when it rained. I thought from the pictures there was a covered porch. The bugs in the kitchen were annoying but we tried to focus on the beauty of the location, the great firepit and how quiet it was.

Rainbow River Escape!

We had a great time and enjoyed the river, it's location and the comfort of the home and amenities provided. It was better than expected. We had 9 people sleeping there at one time and everyone was comfortable and enjoyed themselves. We did it all, floated, relaxed in the back yard, played games, had a fire and so much fun!!

A very cute house directly on the river

We stayed on the river. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The master bed was very soft. The kitchen was well stocked. There was both a drip coffee maker and a keurig. The grill was charcoal. There were plenty of towels both bathroom and beach. There were a few floaties for the river. My only complaint was that we did not get our entry code until a few minutes before we were arriving, which made us very uncomfortable. We called vrbo and eventually got it. . I would stay again.very reasonable price.

Perfect Family Vacation

This house provided everything we needed to have a perfect family vacation. Enough space for my family, water access right in the backyard, floats to enjoy in the water, and much more! The owners were always available when we had questions. We will definitely be back to The Flip Flop Inn!

Spectacular location on Rainbow River

We gave this stay 5 stars primarily because of the location and size of the home. This house sits above KP hole and is a short 20 minute kayak/paddleboard ride to the headsprings. The owner is very nice and quick to respond/assist with whatever you might need. If you're going to stay here understand this is a no frills home. It had all the basics, fast Internet access and Roku TVs where I was able to access our Netflix, Prime, Video and Spectrum, but the interior is dated. Since the owner provides you with the basics it helps keep the cost down so it worked out great all around for us. You should bring everything you think you will need. There is a nice Winn Dixie, a Publix, and a Walmart close by if you need something. We trailered our own kayaks and paddleboards which ended up working out great. The neighbors and the road this house is on is quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean, Comfty & Close to the River! 🌈

The home is very clean with lots of space. AC works great! Best of all was the closeness of the river. Easy access with the steps into the river and easy launching, too.

Flip Flop Inn Fun

Great trip! The river access was good, but no deck or dock. Nice picnic table, but so many ants couldn’t use it. Property needed clean up. House was perfect for our guests. Well equipped and clean.

Perfect Spot on the Beautiful Rainbow River!

Cannot say enough good things about Flip Flop Inn! Juanita the owner is so lovely and VERY communicative. She answered all out questions promptly and with detail. Nice big property! Plenty of room for games and hanging out on the river. Nice picnic bench to enjoy your meals sitting near the river. Rooms are spacious and the house has everything you need. Beds are very comfy! Pefect family vacation! We will definitely be back! Thank you Juanita and Bob for sharing your piece of paradise with our family!

Lovely time on the rain bow river

This was our 4th stay at the flip flop in. Spacious clean easy river access. Always enjoy ourselves here and never had any problems. We love the location and will definitely be back again

VERY ❤ NICE!

We had a GREAT stay/time @ the Flip flop inn. The house was clean and roomy. It had everything we needed and more. We really ENJOYED fishing, paddle boarding, and boating on the river it is BEAUTIFUL. We used the fire pit almost every night. The yard is large with plenty of room to park. The boat ramp, state park/head springs, grocery stores and shopping are all close by. Juanita was a kind and thoughtful host. We would stay again.

Right on the rainbow

We enjoy watching the family of otters right across the river, and the kids snorkle and had a blast, property is downstream of KP hole. Property has many room, basic kitchen needs. Bathrooms have plenty of towel, but remeber to bring your own toiletries. Manager was very responsive and flexible.

Autumn break

After a scorching Florida summer, the Flip Flop Inn was the perfect destination to enjoy cool crystal water, nights to star gaze under the big full moon, and lots of peace and quiet. We'll be back!

Great water access

Everything was easy, check in to check out. May not have any spices hanging around the kitchen but had more than enough chairs, towels and all kitchen equipment. Perfect stay for us to be on the water.

Steps to Rainbow River

You can't get a better location if you want to enjoy Rainbow River. Has steps that take you from the property right into the river. About .6 miles upstream of KP Hole. Convenience store down the street. Small place but packs in 4 bedrooms and you really only want to be inside when eating and sleeping anyway. This isn't a 5 star resort so don't expect that, its a nice little manufactured home in a 5 star location.

What’s not to love?

Another amazing stay at Rainbow Springs…we come at least once a year. Accommodations were clean and there is everything you need in the house to prepare your own meals, play some board games if the weather isn’t co-operating and plenty of towels. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Perfect location on the river!

This property was amazing! It’s 1/4 mile down from the spring head. Easy to kayak or paddle board up the river. Crystal clear water with steps into the water. Great spot for fishing. The house is very clean. Had everything you need for cooking and a charcoal grill. We brought three kayaks and a paddle board with us. The property provides some floats for tubing down the river. Close to everything you need (Walmart, Winn-Dixie, aldi, fast food and downtown antique district) we would definitely stay here again!
