Great location and house for families

The house was great for our large group with lots of kids. Super close to beach with a great pool in the back. Kitchen was fully stocked with lots of pans and utensils.

Suited us well!

The property worked out great for our big group. The kitchen was nice and big and the rooms were laid out nicely. We really enjoyed and would stay here again.

Family summer trip

Great property and beach very accessible! Enough space for grandparents, adults and children. Hot tub was very nice during our stay with overcast and breezy weather.

Excellent Beach House

This house exceeded our expectations. It's close to the beach, the pool and hot tub were crystal clear and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great Stay

Our group of 18 had such a good stay here. The location is perfect...only a few steps away from the beach. The house is massive and it never felt squished even with 18 people. We didn't have any issues while we were there. I would highly recommend this spot for a large group.

Family Fun

This property is great for a family with kiddos. The beds are comfortable and the couches are cozy. The owner and support staff were very responsive and helpful when we reached out with a couple of questions. We would be happy to stay again.

Perfect Getaway

The house was superb. Exactly what we were looking for. Clean, organized, plenty of space and privacy for guests. The property manager was attentive and quick to respond. Would highly recommend!

Great space for large family

Wonderful location. A bit more quiet than the bustle of Nags Head. Can see the ocean from many windows! Great rooms for many generations. Having the pool in addition to the ocean was wonderful. Quick responses to questions by owner before and during stay.

Great house. So much room for our large group of 15. We'll stocked, ice maker is a definite plus. Felt like a vacation. Short stroll to the beach. Pool and hot tub were great. Some outdoor sprucing up, showers, picnic area, side yard, would make a huge difference. Host was very responsive and helpful. The included golf cart was an awesome perk.Overall a fantastic experience

First entire family vacation

The house was beautiful. We did have an issue with the pool but it was taken care of very quickly. Everyone had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend and come again!

80 Birthday Celebration!!

We had 21 guests ranging from all ages. Plenty of room for all. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The pool table was a nice perk on the lower level. Only a 2 minute walk to the beach and stunning views from the upper decks. We had a great time celebrating Mom's 80th!!

Fantastic house for a family reunion!

My family and I had a wonderful time in Ourter Banks and this house was just perfect and completely comfortable for our large group. Everything was clean and the host was very responsive to every call and text with the questions we had. The kitchen is fully equipped with large pots and serving bowls, which made it easy to prepare meals for a group of our size. The pool and hot tub were very nice addition when we got tired of the beach, which was just steps away. Highly recommend this place for reunions and get togethers.

Location was great.

Just a few minutes from ocean. Bedroom/ bathroom ratio was extremely desirable for our families. Pool/ hot tub was really nice to get a break from sand and salt water. And Facebook posts about heavy traffic were over exaggerated-never was at a standstill. Plus we had perfect weather all week. (Helped we could cool off in air conditioning.

Fantastic Time

We had a wonderful time, and the Owner was great. Any question, or minor issue she called right back, or sent a text within 15 minutes. And what ever the question is was resolve in a very quick fashion. Wonderful person to deal with

Family fun

This house was perfect for our large family. 8 adults and 9 children. Bedrooms on each level with private bathroom for most. Great room/kitchen was large enough for all of us. Short walk to the ocean beach and larger swimming pool and hot tub. Constant fun! House was in great condition. Lots of kitchen utensils, appliances and dishes. Bed linens and towels included. We agree we would vacation here again.

House was in a great location and so much room but House needs to be updated and items fixed. Also not enough garbage cans.

I'm surprised by your review since we spoke several times during your stay and you stated you were having an "amazing time" and were "enjoying the house and the pool". To address your concerns, the owner lovingly invested in a professional interior designer in February 2022. Many of the interior furnishings, as well as the decor and bedding, were updated. I received your email upon your departure stating the toilet paper holders in a few of the bathrooms were loose. These were repaired by our maintenance staff as soon as your message was received. Thank you for letting us know about this need for repair.

Beautiful location, but property not kept up to reflect the price of the rental

Floors were not cleaned appropriately, towels were missing, furniture broken, weeds around the pool, drain stopped up, broken soap dispenser, etc.

Hey, Tracy! We are glad you chose our property for your family vacation, but terribly disappointed in the way it was treated during your stay, and left after your departure. This is a non-smoking property, inside and outside. The entire exterior of the property was littered with cigarette butts, and the inside smelled of cigarettes and marijuana. Our cleaning staff works hard to maintain our properties and when I checked-in with you at the time of your arrival you indicated the floors were dirty. The owner of our cleaning company was on site within ten minutes and found your children roaming around with bags of chips, which you agreed was the source of the food crumbs strewn throughout our beautiful property. As discussed in our amenities listing, we provide one set of towels per registered guest, 18 in your case. Extra towels are always available for an extra cost. Although you declined paying for extras, as a kind gesture, our cleaning and linen staff left you some anyhow. The picnic table was broken by horseplay from those in your group and was hauled off and is being replaced. We are truly disappointed in the way your group left the property, and would not host you again.

Good stay

We had some hiccups with the pool being unclean but the property manager was quick to take care of it. It may be because we were there in an off peak time. It was upsetting to the kids we lost an entire day with the pool but we made do. Some parts of the house were damaged and we had to do a photo walk before check in so we didn’t get the blame but when you have a property that’s rented often it can happen. It was a nice location. Some of the pots and pans were dirty and we had to wash them before cooking (as you should anyways) but that’s more the cleaning service than the owners. All in all it was minimal issues.

Really lovely home!

My friends all enjoyed our stay so much! The kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots and pans, coffee mugs, plates, silverware, etc. We were able to cook multiple full dinners for 19 of us. Plenty of beach chairs available, boogie boards, etc. We hungout at the pool and hot tub every day and enjoyed how close to the beach the house was. Such a nice, quiet little cul-de-sac. We just had one small issue (not enough bath towels) but Doreen helped us out quickly. Small touches (like ice makers in both freezers, plenty of dishwasher and laundry pods, etc) really made the stay so much more enjoyable. We were able to squeeze 7 cars into the driveway pretty easily. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Few issues. Overall enjoyed the stay.

Nice 6 bed property. 3rd floor has lot of space for a get together. Few issues we noticed and informed the property manager. We found a lot of bugs including cockroaches across the house including kitchen. Music system was not working. Tv sound was not loud enough. Swimming pool was not covered in the winter and had dirty water filled. House was clean. Linen was clean. Proximity to the beach. We all enjoyed the stay.

Fantastic week at the Outer Banks

Our family had a great time at the Outer Banks. The house was perfect for our family, which consisted of three generations ranging from 82 to 13. It was just a couple minutes walk to the beach, and the pool and hot tub were excellent. The main living space allowed all of us to hang out and share meals together on the upper level, and it was nice to have a second living room with a pool table on the lower level to allow us to spread out as well. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and able to address small issues that came up during the week which was appreciated. Rodanthe is a less populated area with several camp sites. It is ideal if you are looking for a less crowded, more remote beach experience. We were still close enough to drive to Nagshead and Kitty Hawk to enjoy some of the features in those locations. While we planned to go to Hatteras and Ocracoke one day, we were enjoying the house and Rodanthe so much, we decided to stay put instead.
