Chuck was amazing! Prompt to answer any and all questions. The place was an amazing location and the Dairy Queen accessibility was a crowd pleaser. Soo many amenities it’s worth a second visit just enjoy everything the place is stocked with. The fenced in downstairs is also incredible for small kids and dogs.

The property was clean and well stocked, with all the amenities advertised. The location was perfect, so close to the beach! There a small issue with the hot tub but Chuck was super responsive and had it fixed the next morning. We enjoyed the grill, cornhole, biking around, the outdoor showers and all the house had to offer. Great stay overall.

We had a wonderful trip and the property was exactly what we were expecting. Great location and easy access to the beach. “The Deck” was definitely one of the better places we’ve stayed and the owner was easy to get ahold of if we had any issue. Lucky for us, we didn’t! I would highly recommend this property if you’re looking for your next stay in OBX!

We had the best week staying here! Chuck was super quick to respond back to questions and a great host! The house is super close to the beach so super easy walk and we loved having the outdoor space to hang out! We had 16 of us and were comfortable on days we just hung in the house too!

I took a men’s group from our church and they all felt very comfortable the house. Great location, great accommodations: kitchen, grill, laundry room. Very good washer/dryer. Had two teens who loved spending time in the hot tub. Enjoyed the bikes and kayaks. Overall, a great experience. Our second time staying there.

The deck area and downstairs area was PERFECT for teens. The kitchen was well equipped and the living space offered ample space. The amenities, like bikes, hot tub, games and tiki bar were enjoyed by all. We had an amazing time.

We had such a great stay here for spring break in Avon! The house had so many fun games and things to do, which made it perfect for hanging out and relaxing together. The outdoor space was amazing and the hot tub was an awesome amenity to have, especially at night with the lights and TV.It’s also a super quick walk to the beach, which was really peaceful during the off-season. There are also some great coffee shops within walking distance, which was a nice bonus in the mornings.The kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything you could ever need, which made cooking at the house really easy. Just make sure to bring your own bath and beach towels!One thing to note if you’re visiting in the off-season is that a lot of the restaurants and ice cream shops nearby are closed for the season, but that also makes the area feel more relaxed and uncrowded. Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back!

Thank you all so much for taking such great care of the house! You are all welcome back anytime! As for the towels - we’ve had so many issues with guests losing or accidentally taking them, that we have to replace some of them nearly every stay. Also, since we permit up to 19 people in the house, it is just more practical for guests to bring their own. Loved the location of the house, and the house was wonderful! Only about a 5 minute walk to the beach, and the house already had beach chairs for our group to use. The kitchen was large enough for our entire party, and was a fun space to hang out in. The hosts of this home were wonderful, and we would definitely return!
