Welcome to the Funk Casita! Conveniently located within biking distance of Old Town and walking distance to CSU campus and Canvas Stadium, steps from Spring Creek trail and on the Remington St bike route. Enjoy the 2 available cruiser bikes for a quick spin to a multitude of nearby dining and brewery options. Bring the pups and enjoy the private, fully fenced yard and relaxing outdoor space. This cozy 2 bedroom home has a nicely sized fully equipped kitchen if you prefer to dine in!

This cozy casita sits ton a1/3 acre lot along with our primary residence. The guesthouse is fully fenced off from our yard, but we do have three dogs, Indy, Milo & Sophie.

Fabulous Hosts!

We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable bungalow. The kitchen was well stocked and the space was perfect for us and our pup. The owners were extremely helpful with great communication & were very kind to us.

Lovely visit

I was visiting my son and two year old granddaughter, the layout (and the excellent tea selection) were perfect for having them over to hang out (including the dog)! Location was ideal.

Beautiful Casita

Absolutely adorable. It’s close to everything. Very quaint home. Donna was wonderful and patient considering I am technology challenge and could not figure how to use the google nest thermostat 😊. She was super helpful. The only two draw backs are: the home is near a train that goes by at 3am and 6am most mornings and the only bathroom in the home is in the second bedroom not the master. So as long as you’re all family it’s no big deal. Honestly even with those things I would definitely rent this home again!! Donna has the homes pantry stocked with a lot of pantry items and condiments, a FULLY stocked kitchen with all the baking and cooking items you could need. I’d definitely recommend the home to any small family or couples. It was a wonderful stay! Donna was very accommodating! Thank you for a great stay.

Nice cottage in a quiet neighborhood

We had a nice stay here with our 2 springer spaniels while we attended a family wedding in Ft. Collins. The cottage is clean and comfortable; the yard was perfect for the pups! We are happy to have found this little place!

Fort Colling Getaway

This property was great all around. The location is perfect for us, near the university and old town. it was very clean, the yard was great for our dogs and the host was excellent and very responsive.

Great Weekend!

I cannot say enough about our stay! Kitchen was great! Had some staple items already in it so if we forgot something it wasn’t a big deal! We had no issues and are looking forward to possibly staying again!

Relaxing

My wife & I loved it. Very clean! Area is very nice! Perfect for couples with dogs. Our dog loved the fenced in yard. Very close to downtown.

Clean Cozy Cottage

We enjoyed our stay. Th property was clean, conveniently located and had all the amenities listed in the add. The only issue we had was the small bathroom it was functional but much smaller than we have had in the past.

Quaint and charming

Great little house close to Old Town Fort Collins. Has everything you need and decorated very cute. Donna was easy to get in touch with if we needed anything. Backyard was great with both our dogs. Will return if traveling to FC.

Amazing Casita

We stayed 2 nights in this wonderful home! Perfect for our needs. Close to Old Town. Home was absolutely immaculate, kitchen well stocked, beds comfy and Iinens were great! Our pups enjoyed the backyard! Donna was super helpful with the few questions we had. GREAT EXPERIENCE 😀

Excellent fit!!

Stayed here for a week while we moved into our new house. Great little space with private alley entrance. Nice separate private yard for our dog to run around in. Owners were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Even offered up a lot of useful local knowledge to help us get more familiar with different parts of the area. Minutes away from Old Town shops, restaurants and bars. Would definitely recommend!!

Loved the Casita!

My husband and I stayed with our 2 pups and this was PERFECT! Nice location - close to businesses but also private. We hosted our CSU daughter and a friend for dinner and the kitchen was well equipped, easy to entertain. Donna was easy to contact and very gracious. We definitely plan to stay again!

First Family Vacation

Excellent location - we were within walking distance to restaurants, CSU campus, trail system, and Black Bottle brewery. And short driving distance to the downtown. Very dog friendly - appreciated the grassy backyard, dog treats, bowls, toys. The space worked out well for our first trip with our 6 month old. Cozy, well decorated, and enough space for our family. Well stocked kitchen and bed was comfy - we all slept well. Appreciated the communication with the owner to ensure we were taken care of when the A/C unexpectedly went out. I would highly recommend a stay here to explore Fort Collins!

The Funk Casita is perfect!

The house is exactly as pictured and located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the eateries in the historic downtown. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and there’s a full-size washer and dryer. Off-street parking is provided in the alley behind the house and there’s a private yard with patio furniture. Donna and Mike are fantastic hosts, quickly responsive, and just super nice (and I love their doggos!). This is the perfect home base for exploring Fort Collins and Northern CO.

I am a thirty something interior designer/ outdoor enthusiast with a wonderful husband and 3 fur-children that we travel with often! We are easy going people, who enjoy relaxed travel and simple accommodations. We spend a lot of time outside and love to have an outdoor space to gather in. We enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, yoga, gardening, and cooking.

For the past 4 years I have been managing our charming little house in Salida as well as our cute little guesthouse in Fort Collins.

I truly enjoy being a host and helping guests enjoy their time in the towns I love so much. I hope you find our homes comfortable and accommodating to you and your loved ones! We are excited for this experience!
