Cozy and private mountain retreat at the top of Laurel Mountain

A private home at the entrance of Forbes State Forest and Laurel Mountain Ski Resort, Laurel View is steps away from year round hiking and biking and in the winter downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. The Cabin has two master bedrooms with queen beds, a kid friendly room off the kitchen area with a single and double bed and loft space with two singles. Beyond the activities right outside the door Laurel View is a short drive to exceptional fly fishing in Linn Run State Park, several golf courses of all levels or you can explore historic Ligonier or Falling Water. At the end of the day enjoy the peace and quiet of the outdoors on the large deck or around the outside fire pit. If there are additional questions or requirements please contact the owner.

The hosts were excellent - so responsive and flexible! The house was well appointed and so cozy - the kids loved the loft space! Great location, you couldn't get any closer to Laurel Mountain Resort!

Host was very commutative and responsive. House is well stocked with everything you could need for your stay besides food and clothing and personal toiletries. Quiet and nice area. We would stay again if we’re in the area!

I had an awesome experience booking with Jason and Michelle this weekend! A large storm hit the area prior to check in and the rental lost power. Not only were they extremely communicative the whole time, they worked with me to adjust the timeline of my stay to account for the delay in check-in and ensured I received a prompt refund from VRBO for the lost night. Throughout all of our interactions, they were kind, professional, prompt, and extremely flexible. The cabin itself is gorgeous, clean, well-maintained, and cozy. I booked it as a solo retreat, but it could comfortably accommodate a family or group. I especially enjoyed sitting on the deck in the back; it’s just secluded enough that you can feel at peace, but close to the hiking trails and Route 30 should you want to explore the area further. I highly recommend booking this rental for your next trip to the Laurel Highlands!

Great stay.

Our stay was great. The property is well maintained and equiped. The owner is very nice and readily available if needed. I highly recommend staying here, you wont be disappointed.

Cute cottage and or cabin

Overall our stay was a good experience with an easy ride to Flight 93 Memorial. The cabin needs a good detail cleaning and the water was awful.

Great stay!

My family was in from around the country for Christmas. We needed a place for several to stay and this location was perfect. The hosts were very responsive and provided excellent communications. Everything we needed was in the house and in excellent working condition.

Wonderful location for the perfect ski weekend

Our family loved our stay in this perfect, cozy mountaintop retreat. The location can't be beat as it is literally the closest home to Laurel Mountain Ski Resort. The place had everything you need for a great time away, including wonderful little touches such as the wood stove being prepped for a fire upon our arrival. The owners' communication was exceptional from checkin throughout our stay. We are already in the process of booking another stay at this lovely cabin.

Cabin in the woods for Christmas...

The cabin was as advertised. Cozy, inviting and the owners even set-up a Christmas tree for our visit. It snowed one night, only adding to the festive mood. The glass-fronted wood burning stove was a real treat.We would definitely stay here again and encourage others to do so.

Great weekend away

The cabin worked perfect for our family and was very close to skiing. Everything was very clean and could tell recently updated. Wood burning fire insert was great and relaxing. Hosts were great to deal with as well and were able to get a fire started shortly before our arrival since it was chilly. Would recommend for a nice weekend getaway in the mountains. We plan on booking again.
