We have booked this house two years in a row and we love it. The house is in a great location and look forward to spending a week at Lake Martin every year at this location.

Lake Martin vacation

Perfect for our family of adult children and young grandkids. Great yard and comfortable home. The kayak, lilly pad and floats were a nice perk.

Great Home for Family Vacations

We grew up as kids coming to Lake Martin and it was so much fun to revisit the lake 20 years later with kids of our own! The house was great and perfect for families with children. Beautiful lawn and spectacular view with plenty to do! Hope to visit again soon!

Loved our stay

This house was so calm and peaceful. It is well appointment and the yard with the lake view is so nice. The kids loved playing games, the fire, fishing and swimming off the deck. It was perfect.

Peaceful

We had an amazing week staying here. The house had everything we needed and lots of space. We spent most of our time on the back porch. We will definitely be back if it’s available again!

Sycamore Cove Family Trip

Perfect house for 8 adults. Comfortable furnishings. Neat and clean. Plenty of room to spread out. Fabulous covered porch. Plenty of water toys for entertainment.

Family Reunion

We reunited with long time friends and their families for a long weekend. Four families with kids ranging from 1-7. It was the perfect setup! Everything was clean, all the beds so comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, best porch on the lake! We absolutely loved our stay!

Great location on the water and the yard was an extra bonus! Shady and flat which was perfect for playing badminton, volleyball, and wiffle ball. Quiet cove for kayaking and paddle boarding. The large back porch was so inviting and comfortable as it had 2 large swings and enough chairs for the entire family as well as 3 fans. Our family traveled from Arkansas, Tennessee, and North Carolina and we made so many special memories together. The host communicated well before and during our stay.

Lake House with everything!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at The Sycamore Cove cabin!! Beautiful easy access with everything you could think of!! We enjoyed the outdoor porch area the most!!! The swing beds were so comfy!! Landscape was Beautiful!! Leigh & Doug are quick to answer any concerns you may have !! Kitchen fully equipped!! House layout is perfect!! We can’t wait to return!!

Best Time

We had the absolute best time during our stay at the lake over the July 4 holiday. The house was wonderful. They’ve done such a good job taking care of it. We enjoyed being at the end of the slough away from boat traffic. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our families. House was spacious enough that no one felt on top of each other. We spent the majority of our time out on the covered porch. The ceiling fans above each of the swinging beds was a great touch that made things very comfortable. I don’t have any negative comments everything about the property was great.

This was our 2nd time to stay at Sycamore Cove! The house is located on a peaceful part of the lake and the back porch swings are perfect for conversations, reading, playing games, and relaxing. Everyone enjoyed the swimming area and the kayaks and paddle boards that are provided by the host. One new addition this year was the outdoor shower which was very convenient and helpful. The yard area is flat and perfect for volleyball, badminton, wiffle ball, capture the flag, and football games. The kitchen has all you need to prepare delicious meals and the large table on the back porch accommodated all of our family. Children's Harbor Thrift Store is just a few minutes away and we found some good deals. The end of the road is very nice for walking and has a lot of shade. Our family traveled from Arkansas, Tennessee, and North Carolina and we were thankful for the special memories we made enjoying the beauty of Lake Martin together! The host does an excellent job communicating and I highly recommend Sycamore Cove.

This is THE BEST rental property we have ever stay at! The house was incredibly well maintained and well equipped. Beyond anything I could have asked for. The beds were comfortable, the showers and baths had luxury bath products, the towels smelled amazing. All of the little special touches were so well thought out and greatly appreciated. We have 4 adult children and two small grandchildren. Everyone said it was the best house and the best vacation they had ever had. We will definitely be back!

Great Times!

It was beautiful and relaxing. Huge shade trees for the heat-still could enjoy the great relaxing porch. 5 minute boat ride from the Marina that we were able to launch our own boat. The Dock had plenty room for our boat to stay 26 ft center console. Great home with great energy felt like home. We rent houses every year we will definitely be back to this one!
