Beautiful Cabin & Fantastic Hot Tub
The cabin and grounds were beautiful, and the hot tub was fantastic. We had some issues getting the heat and fireplace working but the hosts were very responsive and we had it up and running quickly. The satellite internet was great and only went out when it was snowing heavily one evening. It was back up the next morning when we woke up. We loved having the bottled water dispenser available for drinking since the cabin is on well water. We could never get either of the K-Cup brewers to work. Both of them just overflowed boiling water all over the countertop but never brewed. The jetted tub in the master would not come on which was a disappointment after filling the whole tub with water. We had a very difficult time sleeping as the beds seem old and in need of replacement. The springs were constantly digging in as we moved. There is also a very loud humming that can be heard and the vibration felt throughout the entire house. It was a complaint from all occupants on all floors after the first night. I personally slept on the lowest floor and it felt as if my brain was being microwaved. I had to move my head to the foot of the bed away from the wall in order to sleep. We came to the conclusion that it was the hot tub pump kicking on and off. Overall we had a great time but we wouldn’t stay again due to the humming/vibration issue.
