Welcome to our paradise vacation home, away from home. This Florida Keys house has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps up to 10. Includes a 40’ boat dock space (no extra charge), fish cleaning station, an ice machine and has all the comforts of home. It is conveniently located bayside, in Plantation Key Colony, between Key Largo and Islamorada, just outside of Tavernier Creek for easy ocean access. Enjoy fishing, snorkeling, sandbars and water front dining nearby.

Comfort and convenience makes this an ideal rental, with plenty of parking for cars and your boat trailer in the front yard. Enter on the first floor to the downstairs living room, with a recliner sofa, large smart TV (55 inch), twin size daybed with trundle,  full-sized murphy bed,  and a half bathroom down the hall. The master bedroom has a King bed and full en-suite bathroom. A separate laundry room and tackle storage room for fishing poles and dive gear leads to the back patio dock area where there is additional storage space for gear under the stairs.

The second floor has vaulted ceilings and sky lights with an open concept living room, large smart TV, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. A full bathroom and two bedrooms, one king room, and one queen room with a desk and a window view of the boat dock area. All bedrooms have walk in closets, new mattresses and plush bedding.

Other spaces include seating areas with water view from the wrap around deck on the second floor, which connects to the rooftop patio, a perfect place to start your day with a cup of coffee and yoga.  It’s perfect for happy hour with sunset views over the neighborhood, or dinner with seating for 10 under the stars. Try your luck at Tiki Toss and Corn-hole. Downstairs you can relax on the hammock by the water, tell fish stories and take photos of your days catch by the fish cleaning station, or cool off in the soaking pool, at the secluded area at the side yard of the property.

Several paddle boards and kayaks are provided for your adventures, with easy access for launching from the stairs at the end of the dock. Other amenities include 2 bikes, BBQ, coolers, beach umbrellas, beach towels and chairs, pool floats, bedside lamps with USB outlets, high speed internet, cable, Netflix, Hulu and Peacock. A convenience store and dock fueling station is just around the corner so if you need any last minute items, it’s very ‘convenient.’ The perfect place to grab any essentials for your trip and fuel up for a fun day on the water. Walk a block to Payfair Supermarket (makes great deli subs), or Craig’s famous fish Restaurant (we recommend the blacked fish sandwich). Within a half mile radius you have Angler Eddie’s bait and tackle, a dive center, restaurants, shops at Old Tavernier, and two fish markets. Winn Dixie, Bill’s Liquor store, and Dillon’s Pub and Grill Bar, are one mile to the north, and Publix is a few miles south. 

Take a 3 mile bike ride to Founders Park, enjoy the beach area, swimming at the pool, pickle ball, tennis, basketball, golf range, or attend a concert event.  Try to visit beautiful Anne’s Beach, for a spectacular sunrise, or a picnic at the beach.  Make sure to snorkel or scuba dive at Alligator Reef and  John Penne Kamp State Park sanctuaries, avoid anchoring whenever possible and tie up to the Bouys, be careful not to touch or disturb the ocean floor, and be prepared to be amazed.  We hope you will enjoy your stay at our home, and make many happy memories here, where life is a little closer to heaven when you are by the water.
