Another wonderful stay!

Again my adult sons met us in Oregon to visit family and we had a great, relaxing stay at this beautiful location to explore the coast, the beach, the lake and local restaurants. We hope to be back again and have stayed here before.

Lakeside Hideaway and birdwatcher's delight

The property is located up on an overlook to the lake. There is privacy provided by trees on either side of the house. It was wonderful to sit on the deck with the morning coffee and enjoy the expansive lake view. On one side of the property is a blue heron rookery and the other side an osprey nest. We also saw eagles, egrets, swallows, hummingbirds and many other types. We were lucky enough to be there when the herons were nesting and could hear the chicks and see the adult herons swoop into the nesting area. The sand dunes are close by as is Highway 101 with a short drive to Coos Bay and ocean beaches. The house is clean, roomy, with comfortable beds, and exactly as described in the listing. It was nice to have a garage to park the car as the fir trees were dropping needles. There was an initial instance of contact with the owner which was swiftly addressed and they were very available during our stay. We would definitely stay there again!

Serene retreat

Beautiful spacious home with beautiful view of 10 mile lake. Lots of wild life viewing- birds, deer, pot belly pigs. Gorgeous home with comfortable beds and spacious rooms. I would highly recommend and hope to be back to visit local family yearly!

Gorgeous views & lovely home.

This property is beautiful & very clean. We stayed for Thanksgiving. The host is wonderful. Very tesponsive. Beds are comfortable. House stays warm. Nice lake views from the deck. Quiet, convenient neighborhhod. Will definitely book again. Highly recommend

Great Property & Service

The property/house was fantastic and when we encountered a problem, the host had it resolved in less than 24 hours and left a bottle of wine to apologize for the inconvenience. All around great experience. We have this property rented again in a couple of weeks and are looking forward to staying again! Thank you!

Minni was very thoughtful and helpful. The property was very nice and there was a lot of wild life.

Beautiful view of the lake and was nice sitting on the deck next to the fireplace.

Beautiful, clean, and quiet lake view!

This was one of the nicest rentals, it was also the cleanest and best kept I've seen. The views were amazing, the overall feel was relaxing and my kids had a blast.

Beautiful home, beautiful views, wonderful hosts!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The backyard deck, grill and fireplace overlooking the lake made for majestic evenings. The property offered bountiful luxury, peace and quiet, and even some wildlife! There is not direct access to the lake, as we assumed and had planned some of our stay around, and there were a couple other hiccups to be expected with a first time Property, and the hosts were immediately responsive and went above and beyond to assist us in helping to come up with other activities for our stay and resolving the hiccups we encountered right away! We had a truly wonderful vacation here, and will be back next spring!
