The space

Escape to our cozy cabin perched on Bell Mountain in Northeast Georgia, with stunning lake and mountain views. Sip coffee on the wraparound deck, soak in the hot tub under watercolor skies, or gather around the fire pit after a day of hiking, boating Lake Chatuge, or exploring nearby Helen. With 3 private suites, a speakeasy-style game room, and all the comforts of home, it’s the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

There are three well-appointed master suite bedrooms that comfortably accommodate up to 7 guests in total. Each room offers its own full bathroom along with cozy bedding and ample storage, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bedroom in the lower level also includes a love seat and a kitchenette with a microwave and mini fridge. With enough space for everyone, it’s easy to feel right at home during your mountain escape.

Great stay!

Great place to stay with mountain and lake views. Close to downtown Hiawassee with multiple marinas to rent boats (highly recommend The Ridges Resort if you’re looking for dog friendly). We’ll be coming back!

Amazing mountain and Lake views

We had an amazing 2 weeks with perfect weather and accommodations! Very conveniently located to shopping and outings. Will definitely be back.

We truly enjoyed our stay. This home had one of the most beautiful mountain views. The whole house was very clean and well stocked. Pete was extremely helpful and quick to respond. Conveniently located close to town so grocery shopping or dinner was less than ten minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful time with Family

Great home with fantastic views! Hosts were super and communication was simple and easy. Home was beautiful and accommodations very comfortable and quiet. Super easy access to everything Hiawassee had to offer. Loved our stay!

Our family of 4 had a lovely long weekend here. The house was clean and very comfortable, and the location was great. Even better, we were able to bring our pup along!

Breathtaking Stay

The cabin is located in a great centralized location and has a breathtaking/picture perfect view! We enjoyed the hot tub with the morning and evening Mountain View’s. The cabin was very well set up and all amenities were as described and functioned. Definitely a place that we will be revisiting!

Amazing stay!

We absolutely loved our time here! So did our chocolate lab (she loved the porch and the creek). This is such a beautiful home, the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in, and definitely well loved by the owners! Thanks so much for sharing your home, we hope to be able to come back soon!

Beautiful cabin, great location

We loved our stay at this beautiful mountain cabin. Perfect for our family of 5. The location was excellent, a short drive to all that north Georgia has to offer. Unfortunately, the fireplaces weren't functioning properly for us and the hot water in the showers didn't last long at all, but still a 5 star stay, we will definitely visit again!

Great Views

Exactly the relaxing vacation I was looking for! Mountain views did not disappoint and house was well stocked with everything we needed. Centrally located for us as we were able to visit multiple hiking trails like Jack Rabbit & Anna Ruby Falls. We were also able to check several cities close by like Helen and Blue Ridge to name a few. We will definitely be back for another visit!

Amazing Views, Relaxing Stay, Great Communication.

The views were amazing, the game room and hot tub were perfect, we had to force the kids to leave to go fishing and hiking. Convenient location as well, we were able to go to the grocery store and get a few things very painlessly. And great communication throughout my stay, all the little questions I had were answered promptly. Would highly recommend!

Thanksgiving Break

Our family loved this house! We have 3 teenagers and the two of us and the home was a perfect accommodation. The views and wrap around porch were outstanding. The owner was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We would love to stay here again!

Beautiful & relaxing property

Our family recently stayed at this house & this was one of the best places we have ever booked. The house & views are stunning - even our teenagers enjoyed breakfast outside every morning! Relax & enjoy the quiet & peaceful views! The location is great; literally a couple of minutes to downtown. The host was excellent; great communication & quick to respond. Would absolutely stay here again!

A wonderful and restful Weekend

The house is beautiful and comfortable. Everything you need is there and ready. Be prepared for a lot of stairs. The view is wonderful. Stop by and refresh yourself.

heaven in Hiawassee

Beautiful home on top of the hill overlooking lake Chatuge. We stay in North Georgia every year and this was by far our favorite cabin we've ever stayed in. Very well stocked. Located close to all the fun stuff for the kids, but far enough from the hustle and bustle that we could just lay around in peace and quiet...

Bell Mountain Retreat

First off, the location can’t be beat. It’s situated on Bell Mountain and overlooks Lake Chatuge and surrounding mountains. The pictures don’t do the view justice and they are great! The house has a large wrap around deck and detached game room. The beds could have been better, but everything else was top notch. I would definitely stay here again.

Welcome home!

This place is amazing! The view will take your breath away. We could not have found a more perfect place to stay. The house is well equipped and has the felling of coming home. The property owners answered all of our communications quickly and thoroughly. We will definitely stay here again. 5 star review!

Go for the views, stay for the comfort!

The photos don’t compare to the views in person. One of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. Pete was so great to communicate with. He recommended where to eat and things to so. The top of Bell Mountain at sunset is a must. The property was clean and comfortable, and well stocked. The hot tub was situated perfect to enjoy the view. We would definitely stay again.

Georgia Mountain Trip

The property was exactly as described. The views are beautiful. The proximity to the lake, Helen and downtown was perfect. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub looking out to the mountains. Kitchen supplies more than adequate to cook most our meals in. Only suggestion would be to replace the main level bed. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you Pete.

Spectacular

Thank you so much . we enjoyed everything about the house and the town of Hiawasse. It was a perfect weekend, temps in the mid 80’s, low at night 66. We spent the day at the Georgia Mountain Fair. Parade, rides, animals, lake, vendors that had some beautiful art. We were close to everything, and the views from the house were fantastic. Storms rolled through late afternoon and filled the Bally’s with fog. Beautiful Thank you again we will be back soon.

Originally from New England and now living in Southwest Florida for over a decade I began missing the seasons and the slower life associated with rural communities such as Hiawassee. This is was brought me to the area. Ultimately settling on a beautiful cabin with beautiful views, I couldn't wait to share this quiet and beautiful space with others since me and my family can only enjoy it now and again throughout the year.

Location! This beautiful home is set at the top of the road on a quiet dead end residential street. Enjoy your favorite cocktail while soaking in beautiful views of both the Appalachian Mountains as well as Lake Chatuge. The Cabin is on the way up to Bell Mountain, which is a MUST during your stay, especially for sunsets. With an open concept this house is perfect for your family visit all while still offering plenty of privacy. Each bedroom is situated on a separate level of the home complete with its own bathroom. Two of the bedrooms even have a private entrance from the outdoors. Lastly, the detached game room offers an amazing area for keeping everyone entertained during your stay when you're not out and about exploring the various waterfalls or enjoying the lakeside beach.
