This Duplex Home away from Home is the upper Unit of 1000 SQ. The layout has two large master bedrooms with their own full-on suites. The rooms each have king size beds, one having a youth twin size daybed. This layout is perfect for two couples or a family vacation. The great room has vaulted ceilings with a kitchen/living room combination. This leads out to a private deck with spectacular views. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a BBQ or Holiday dinner! There is a brand-new grilling station at the bottom of your deck stairs along with a cozy setting area. There is a ground level Studio unit that is occupied with its own entrance. When you arrive, the beds are made with comfy sheets and bedding. The bathrooms are supplied with bath towels. All basic necessities are supplied for you with no extra fees. Hand soaps, shampoo's, paper towels etc. Be sure to bring all your beach accessories, Beach Time / Island Time begins the minute you access the door to Dreamers Den!

Fantastic location and lovely cottage

Dreamer's Den has everything you need to have a wonderful time at the beach. Its location is fantastic, right on the water and minutes from the restaurants and shops in Kure and Carolina beaches. I stayed with my older parents, my husband and our little dog and we all felt so welcome. I love that there are two king bedrooms with comfortable mattresses, so no one had to climb up to a bunk bed or sleep on the couch. The host, LaNette lives right downstairs, so she's available if you need anything. But you won't because she has thought of everything. We would definitely stay here again.

A Dream

Our vacation was absolutely wonderful!! The host was very accommodating and friendly. We have been to Kure many times but first time taking the grandchildren and the Dreamers Den didn't disappoint 🙂⛱️

Great beach house!

Really enjoyed Dreamer's Den. Host has everything you need there and more. Direct access to beach via boardwalk. Used propane grill for outdoor cooking and ate on back deck. Outdoor shower for use after ocean swims a nice feature. Very comfortable accommodations, including for our small dog. We would definitely go back.

Best vacation rental for couples

The pictures did not do it justice. This was by far the nicest rental I have ever stayed in . The view was amazing. The beach was amazing and the host was super accommodating and wanted us to feel We were on a resort vacation. Kudos to Lynette.

Perfect Beach Cottage

The house was ready for check-in before we arrived. It went smoothly and easily. The house was immaculate, updated, and nicely decorated! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We loved that the deck had plenty of seating, and a wonderful view of the ocean. There was a gate to keep our pups safely on the deck while we were out there. Beach access was easy—the path was right off of our deck and a very short walk to the ocean! Restaurants and the pier were not far walk to walk to—about 1/2 mile with sidewalks the whole way on the street side. The Hostess was extremely kind and easy to work with. We would love to stay here again the next time we come to the beach!

Wonderful beach front property! Beautifully decorated, fully equipped and spotless! Quiet location on the beach but conveniently located to so much. This was our second stay here, and we plan to return.

Quick Trip

The location was ideal - just over 1/2 mile from Kure Beach pier. The beach itself was not crowded since the closest public access was a few houses down. The home itself was clean, comfortable and just as described. I definitely recommend!

Fabulous

My girlfriend and I were very pleased with the property. The host was on top of everything, she was very attentive & accommodating. The location was perfect with a quick walk to all Kure beach pier restaurants and the mini mart. Everything was very clean and the unit was very doggie-welcome with a pet gate up top & a gated dog yard below. Definitely recommend staying here!

Great Location and Host

Host stayed in touch with us. House was as advertised. Only negative is whenever the lower level cooks the smell comes into the upper rented area. We were greeted with what we believe to be fish fry. The smell was very strong. We had to open all windows and doors and we purchased a candle to burn in case we needed but we didn’t use. All other meals cooked below were manageable but the fish wasn’t a good first impression.

Relaxing Beach House

Great accommodations! Everything was clean and well kept! All utilities worked. Took advantage of the new grill the host just added for a great evening meal. Beach access was great! Host was very accommodating and pleasant to speak with.

Charming, quiet, cozy cottage

Charming, quiet, cozy cottage with beautiful views and within walking distance to the pier. We arrived later than expected (night) and were super surprised the next morning with the breathtaking views just outside the back glass door and windows! We stayed 4 nights/5 days to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Host is wonderful and very pet friendly! We brought our trained, crate trained 16 month old chocolate lab with us (her first ever beach trip) and she loved it here! The entire area is pet friendly! We took her to Fort Fisher to the beach, Squigley’s ice cream (they have a special pup ice cream treat to give your pups), walking on the Kure Beach boardwalk, on the ferry to Bald Head Island (with lunch at Jules Salty Grub & Island Pub, then we walked a short distance to Old Baldy Lighthouse), local park to fetch, and we walked the beach behind the cottage down to the pier and back. BEWARE: Dogs are only allowed on the beach 5p.m.-9a.m. April 1st-September 30th! We were just happy to be able to take her for a nice walk! Most restaurants have outdoor seating for you and your pets. This cottage is very accommodating and truly home away from home with everything you need including glassware, utensils, cookware, linens, etc. Washer and dryer was a plus to wash all our swimsuits and towels after a long day at the beach. I love that it was non-smoking and the entire house was smoke free! Additionally, the bed was comfortable! We all slept like babies! Thank you so much LaNette for accommodating us, in which we all had a very relaxing, fun-filled beach vacation!

Love this oceanfront house!

My family and I love staying at the Dreamers Den, not to mention it’s pet friendly so we can take our dog. It’s clean and I love the location. LaNette is a great host and responds very fast when you have any questions. Can’t wait to go back.

Pleasure Island is a coastal barrier island in NC. It is just south of Wilmington, NC. The Cape Fear River is to the west with the Intercoastal Waterway in between. There is a small-town vibe here with so much to offer in interest of all.
