Place was great. Went when coastal flooding was occurring. Owner reached out to us to make sure we were aware prior and gave tips to ensure safety. Place was clean and gorgeous. Nice cookware etc..I may be back, but likely summertime.

This place by far was the best we have traveled to, very clean and very nice furniture. You can tell they care about the quality of the home and furniture. The house is tucked away and private. If you want a great quiet getaway this is the place for you . We will be returning soon!

We had a fabulous time! The house had everything you could think off. We were able to catch so many crabs, enjoy the beautiful scenery and relax.

The secluded waterfront location was exactly what I wanted my adult kids and grand kids to experience. The coastal decorated home was extremely clean with all the modern conveniences. My grand kids caught dozens of crabs and were never board. And of couse we steamed the crabs. Nets, crab traps, fishing rods, steaming pot, kayaks and more were available. Buddy & Robin have a beautiful waterfront home and I'm so thankful they made it available. We will be back.Tom & JanaBoca Raton Fl.

Our group had an amazing time at this property. Super friendly and easy check-in and check-out. Clean home with lots of things to do here. We had a very enjoyable week and would highly recommend this home to everyone!

We had a wonderful time relaxing this weekend. The house is exactly how it looks in the pictures. However, the views are better than any picture can show! Sunrises and sunsets hit different on the water.We had plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The kayaks, bikes, and yard games were perfect. Buddy was great at responding to my questions. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

The property had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen and crab off the dock. We enjoyed the beauty of the property including the indoor living spaces, the spacious deck, the firepit, and the private dock. Harbor House was a peaceful place to unwind, enjoy the outdoors, and to spend quality family time.

Views were fantastic! Loved the availability of kayaks and canoe with easy launch on the dock. Deck was spacious with plenty of seating for outdoor enjoyment. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels for a full weeks stay with a full house. Kitchen was very well furnished, all the pots/pans/dishes we needed to do a lot of family meals. It was really nice to have some basics (oil/sugar/flour/basic spices) on hand. The birding was fantastic, both on the water and in the woods. We are already planning when we might return! Communication with the host was fantastic and thorough to make arrival and departure a breeze.

A peaceful getaway

Enjoyed waking up to the sunrises, reading on the deck, fishing and crabbing off the dock, strolling down the road and visiting Mathews. A perfect getaway to slow down and recharge.

Labor Day stay

Wonderful amenities. Caught eel, sting ray, squid, crabs, shrimp and a variety of fish from the dock where we spent the vast majority of our time.

Great!

Great Rental Home. Beautiful views of the water from the deck or dock to fish or go crabbing. Host gave us great information before our stay and had everything available for us to enjoy. Great Wifi too! Had a great time!

This place was amazing for our family. My boys absolutely love the water and fishing. They were on the dock the majority of the time. They enjoyed learning how to do crabbing and going out in the kayaks. If we venture back to Virginia, we will stay again!

Wonderful Waterside Retreat

The view is absolutely beautiful. The home is very nicely decorated and included everything we needed plus more! We enjoyed our stay immensely! We were surrounded by wild life yet it was a short 10 minute drive to town. 5 stars! I highly recommend a stay at Harbor House.

House was great! Fully stocked in all ways - kitchen, bathrooms, outdoor amenities. We enjoyed crabbing and kayaking, and hanging out on the deck. Great communication with host.
