Very well stocked. The home had everything we needed. And was immaculate. Nicely decorated and close to restaurants. The views are amazing and my husband loved crabbing off the dock.

Great property and even better location. Would recommend to any future guest. The green light off the dock was a major plus. My kids loved watching the fish.

Amazing property, very clean, and very well decorated. Felt like you were fully separating from the world for a much needed reset. The pier provided fantastic views and daily fishing and crabbing. Host was always on top of communication, and we had everything we needed. 10/10.

This is an absolutely beautiful property, both inside and out! The water views are outstanding, complete with a picnic table, covered dock with a swing, and comfortable outdoor chairs. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed fishing and crabbing from the pier. There’s even a fire kettle, although we obviously didn’t use it during our August stay!And then there’s the house itself—it is beautifully decorated, far more so than any other river house we’ve stayed in. Every detail of the decor was thoughtfully chosen and stunning while being very comfortable. It truly felt like a special place.Our host was incredibly welcoming and informative. His attention to detail and genuine effort to make us feel comfortable and welcome made our stay even more enjoyable.We absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully appointed getaway!

Wonderful stay at this property. Very clean, decorated with warm and cozy decor. Beautiful views of the river! Well stocked for cooking. Had a great seafood boil and campfire. Would totally stay here again.

An adorable cottage located on the river... what more can you want? Clean, nicely decorated, soft beds, and extra supplies in the kitchen & bath. We wanted to stay away from the Williamsburg/Jamestown hub bub, but still within driving distance (about 40 minutes), With all the farms and many marinas in the area, it was perfect. Deltaville has a small Maritime museum which was very interesting, but we unfortunately missed their farmers market they hold there. We did not find much available locally for an early breakfast, but we had brought our own so we could have breakfast a la waterfront which was 10 times better than any restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Table, which is right in Deltaville, and if you're looking for a special dinner out, check out Porters on Main in Gloucester, it was awesome. Don't forget to visit all the historic sites and maybe a winery. We did all of it, but coming back to the peace and quiet of this cottage in a serene setting made our stay perfect. We were sorry we had to leave when we did.

Gorgeous waterfront home

We had a lovely stay, and it was very close to Fishing Bay Yacht Club, where my daughter was sailing in a regatta. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. The views and garden were breathtaking! Highly recommend this property!

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay in Deltaville! The waterfront location is absolutely beautiful and was easily our favorite part of the property. We loved being able to walk right outside, sit by the water, enjoy the dock, and just take in the views. It was so peaceful and relaxing.The scenery was incredible throughout our stay. We had some amazing skies over the water, and there was just something so calming about waking up and having that view right outside.The owner was so kind, welcoming and accommodating, which made our stay even better. And we have to give a special shout-out to the neighbor, who was absolutely awesome and even surprised us with fresh cooked crabs! That was such an unexpected treat and one of those little things that made the whole experience feel extra special.The location was perfect for enjoying Deltaville while still feeling quiet and tucked away. Between the beautiful waterfront setting, the hospitality and the laid-back atmosphere, it was exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for.We had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again!

This stay was all about location and views for us, but the house itself was charming and well fit out. We spent most of our time in the back yard gazing over the water at the sailboats, and at the ospreys nesting at the end of the dock. But the house itself was just charming, decorated like a model home, fitted out thoughtfully with everything needed. Beds were comfy, kitchen was amazing, everything was lovely. And Aaron, the host, was wonderful, attentive and easy to communicate with. Also, his sister's restaurant-just a mile away- is fantastic! Great hospitality must run in the family. Wish we could have stayed longer, and will be back.

We stayed for a short week. Communication with the owner was fantastic! He was friendly and helpful with everything, and he replied to any inquiries quickly, which made booking and our stay very easy and pleasant. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. We had no needs for anything during our stay, which made it all the more relaxing. We certainly enjoyed our time here.

Perfect River House

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The house was lovely and clean, and the lawn and dock were perfect for getting some sun and watching the ospreys tend their nest. Aaron greeted us and made us feel welcome and responded to the one or two questions we had during our stay.

We had a fabulous stay in Deltaville. The house was everything you could ask for and more. The minute we walked in it felt like home, so beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked right down to the brown paper for the counter to crack blue crab on. We so enjoyed sitting outside looking at the river. Our host Aaron was very easy to communicate with, answered all our questions before and during our stay.We will definitely plan on returning the this lovely place.

Great location. House is clean. The finishes and equipment/utensils are all high-end. The property owner is super responsive and accommodating. The long dock off the back of the property is awesome. We saw plenty of fish, crabs, birds, and porpoises during our stay. If you like crabbing and fishing and sipping wine on the water; stay here!

Paradise Found

This is the real deal! Aaron’s pics and write-up capture the magic of this waterfront stunner. The house is thoughtfully furnished, and as an interior designer, I appreciate nothing more. The beds are heavenly - more comfortable than my own at home. The house was immaculate and the kitchen fully stocked for cooking full meals. Most of our time was spent outdoors, enjoying the view from the dock. Without a doubt, the hanging dock “bed”was the perfect spot for napping, enjoying a good book, and taking in the sounds and sights on the water. The host truly cared about making our mother/daughter getaway as perfect as possible - he even arranged for perfect weather ;) We will 100% be back.
