The dock was wonderful. The views exceptional. Enjoyed our stay. Disappointed with response from management company with a few issues we had.

While the house was well located and very clean, the kitchen was very poorly equipped. We booked for a 2 week stay but there were no extra towels. The owner advised we could not use the cooktop and oven at the same time but no electrician came during the 2 weeks. The pier is in unsafe condition and not useable. The outdoor seating was inadequate and worn, no grill, and no outdoor table. However, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. We had to fix the legs on one of the sofas to keep it from falling down. There wasn’t enough lighting in the main living room so we had to move the two floor lamps around where we needed them. The TV and internet were very good. House has a beautiful view and we saw eagles, osprey and herons.

I would have like the check in information to be delivered sooner than the day of check in. The property was beautiful and in excellent condition. The beds were very comfortable.

Bayfront Escape is just beautiful inside and out! There are gorgeous views from every room, as well as from the front and backyards. If only there was any fish during our stay, it would’ve been our best vacation home ever. We didn’t get a single bite all week, but the gorgeous scenery all around us still made our stay very enjoyable. We had a great time sitting on the deck with its expansive views. We really enjoyed our time on the pier as well as the dock in the woods. The little sandy beach was also a plus for the little one. Communication with Leisr Stays was the best we’ve ever experienced! Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location was perfect- beautiful and peaceful right on the water. Dock was a great place to hang out at same with the cut-out beach areas. There is a great little restaurant nearby called hole-in-the-wall which had great food and the marina is just minutes away if you are looking to rent a boat or get out on the water.Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a quiet location.

Loved our time on the bay!!

This house has beautiful views and it was only about 45 min to Williamsburg. It is on Hills Bay, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay. The water is very shallow and would be great for younger kids. We brought kayaks and enjoyed our time on the water. It would be fantastic for someone that owns a boat too. The water doesn’t have many waves, but we tied a party size float to part of the dock and all the kids, ages 10-19, loved our time there. Since I’m the first review, I think I might be the first renter since the purchase, but there was only one coffee cup and the kitchen could be stocked a bit more-plenty of dishes (and even plastic wrap, foil, trash bags, dish, and hand soap) but limited cooking utensils, cookware, and no containers for leftovers and such. Not a big deal, but might be to someone planning to cook quite a bit. The property managers were AMAZING and always quick to respond! Honestly, the best renting experience we have had! If you like seafood, The Seafood Shack and Richardsons are great! Southwind Pizza is wonderful. Make reservations for Thurs live music. The Island Stop has Chesapeake Bay Twinkies (jalapeños, cream cheese, crab, old bay, wrapped in bacon and glazed with old bay bbq sauce. Watch their fb page for when they have those. The shaved ice guy there is also super nice! You can see Deltaville (check out their minor league baseball schedule) and Gwynn’s Island from the house. Fireworks all around (we stayed on July 4th) were spectacular! LOVED it!

Das Haus bietet eine traumhafte, ruhige Lage mit toller Aussicht.Leider gab es jedoch einige Enttäuschungen: Dass die uns vorab schriftlich zugesagten Kajaks vor Ort doch nicht bereitstanden, war sehr unangenehm. Zudem gab es keinen Grill und keine klare Rückmeldung auf unsere Nachfrage dazu. Der Steg sollte wegen "Reparaturen" auch nicht genutzt werden.Fazit: Sehr schöne Kulisse, aber bei Ausstattung, Absprachen und Service gibt es klaren Nachbesserungsbedarf.

The home itself was great! The location allows you to see beautiful sunrises and sunsets everyday. With great access to the water and just a quick drive to anywhere you may need to get to.There were a few minor issues with the management of the property- however the company was able to rectify them for us.
