Walk to almost everything from this charming loft in downtown Arcata. Part of a lovely historic home, this rental features private access via a staircase in the back, a furnished deck area, a full kitchen, and a relaxing living area with a flat-screen TV and a small table for dining or setting up your laptop. Out back you'll find an enclosed back yard complete with a gas grill and an outdoor Ping-Pong table! Guests will also enjoy access to a shared lounge area and a three-person sauna!
Things to know:
Full kitchen (no dishwasher)
The family dog is welcome to join you here (1 dog max, $18 pet fee applies)
Shared laundry facilities and infrared sauna
Four beach cruiser bicycles available (shared with other units in triplex)
Fast Wifi (83 mbps download speed, 25 mbps upload speed, 15ms latency)
This rental is located around the back of the house on the second floor
1 40 AMP quick charge EV charger in driveway (shared with triplex) $1 per 10 miles honor system
We are very happy to be able to offer a hot tub and a sauna at this location. Please note that the Hot Tub does reach regular temperatures of 100 - 104 F. The Infrared Sauna however often reaches only 115 - 120 F, as opposed to a traditional wet sauna that may reach up to 140 F
A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.
Parking Notes: We cannot guarantee a spot in the driveway as they are shared between guests of all three units on a first-come, first-served basis. Ample street parking is available for guest use. Guest Entry Instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter.

And if you want to hit the beach, this rental is just four miles from Ma-le'l Dunes Park and five miles from Humboldt Beach and the Dunes Trail.

Our hosts were very responsive to all of our needs. The loft was cozy and very clean and the bed was comfy. The best part was that it was walkable to everything in the downtown. We took the bikes provided by the hosts to the Marsh one early morning and saw an otter family and so many bird species. We also loved the community forest, Saturday Farmers Market,Los bagels and Cafe Brio. If you're going to stay anywhere in this region, Arcata is the best place.

We love this home for the location and amenities .. finally got to ride the bikes this time. Love being close to the “square” downtown. Very kind and friendly hosts. We’ll keep staying here!

Great location and very cozy
Our stay was great! They even had coffee to make, the shower was great, and the bed was super comfortable! Overall great experience.

Great location.
This property is walking distance to much of downtown.
The bed seemed a bit small but overall a nice place to stay.

Amazing spot
Amazing spot ‘near’ redwood national forest. Situated in a sleepy little town that has a ton to offer. We had an amazing trip and will definitely be staying here again

Weekend stay in Arcata
This loft was perfect for our 3 night stay. It is a lovely location walkable to all downtown Arcata things and was also just a nice place to hang out. The jacuzzi, sauna and bikes are wonderful extras.

Perfect Spot
This place was excellent! We enjoyed the hot-tub, sauna, and the bikes provided by the host. The location was perfect and the host was responsive and accommodating.

A lot of positives, very quiet, convenient location, cheerful little place. Only negative was the mediocre bed

Arcata visit.
We visited with our son and his family. We ate at wonderful local restaurants. The location made walking everywhere easy.

Lovely Stay
The property was well maintained and convenient to local eateries. It was not so close to our destination of the redwoods , we had a bit of a drive to get there .

Cute loft in excellent location
This was my third time staying here and I will likely be back despite the fact that is a little rough around the edges. It is so perfectly located and quite charming. It’s a great launchpad for exploring HumCo as well a quiet spot if you’re coming to Arcata for R & R.

This is our favorite place to stay when we are in the area. We have stayed here three times already. We love being able to walk to the shops and area is so peaceful. The property is so well maintained. We have stayed in the loft and the downstairs area too. We definitely recommend this beautiful home!

Quiet, Clean, Cozy Little Loft
This place is a gem. We loved how close it was to everything in town. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was convenient. The building seemed to be a little bit at a slant and felt a little dizzying once in awhile, but otherwise was great! We loved it and would absolutely stay there again.
