We lo ed our stay. My extended family are looking at renting the larger house for full family getaway. The amenities were outstanding. We didn't need to bring anything additional. We too advantage of the paddle boards and the beach equipment. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Island Getaway! The house truly had all the amenities of home, which made everything so easy and comfortable. It was conveniently close to the beach, and communication throughout our stay was smooth and effortless. The space was perfect—plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. We especially loved the outdoor areas, which were great for unwinding. Would definitely stay again!!

Beautiful house. Recently renovated and decorated very nicely. Fully equipped with the best appliances and super confortable. I would add the number and the name of the house with the address on the description in Vrbo. It took us a little while to find the house.

We’re sorry to hear that locating the home was a bit challenging upon arrival. We do currently have a large black metal sign displayed at the front of the property with the home’s name, but we understand that traditional house numbers can sometimes be easier to spot, especially when arriving for the first time. Your suggestion is very helpful, and we will definitely take it into consideration as we continue to improve the guest experience. We always want our guests to have a smooth and stress-free arrival. Talk about an idyllic place and location! It was my first time on the island (mother/daughter get-a-way) and we were THRILLED with everything we experienced. Loved the screened in porch, cool air conditioning in side, well stocked kitchen, and very comfortable beds - such a cute, charming and relaxing place to stay! Michelle was quick to respond and we found so much helpful information on the refrigerator and in a book on the table. While there, we talked often of coming back - both to the island and to THIS place.

great property

I stayed with my dog, beautiful cottage, fit all of our needs. Really liked the enclosed lanai. I love the island, this cottage was wonderful.

A relaxing stay. The house looks just like the pictures and is nicely decorated. The host is quick to respond and always answered any question that we had. Not a far walk from the dock or to the beach. We don’t have any complaints. Thank you for having us!

Our family absolutely loved our time at this beach cottage!! It was an easy walk from the dock and even easier to the beach! We loved how safe and welcoming the island was! Our kids had endless fun with sea shelling/shark tooth hunting/swimming/boogie boarding and hanging out at our home away from home! We’ll be back for sure!

Island Getaway

The beach cottage was absolutely perfect! Short walk to beach and a short walk to the dock. It had everything needed for our vacation. Very comfortable, clean, well stocked and relaxing!! The owners were great and made sure we were comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Weekend getaway

Place was clean and had all the things we needed. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive. Location is ideal close to boat slip and beach! Had an amazing and relaxing weekend. It was just we needed.

relaxing

We so much enjoyed our stay at the beach cottage nestled in the trees. The decor was soothing and the vibe relaxing. We rented a golf cart which so easy to get to beach but its only a short walk regardless. We hope to come back.

Adorable cottage

We had a wonderful few days on LGI! The owners were more than accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of! The cottage was well stocked and had the most perfect cozy vibe. The beach is quiet and beautiful and just a short stroll away. We were able to relax and connect as a family which is exactly what we needed! Thank you!

Break Away

Our family loved this cottage! This is our 2nd trip to LGI, and it has proven to be the best break away from all the “busy”. The cottage is nestled in the middle of the island and the perfect distance from the dock and the beach both ways. We enjoyed the slower pace and naps in the screened in porch. Everything we needed was already provided and it made for an easy stay. It was a touch too windy to paddle in the bay or ocean, but that didn’t stop us from combing the beach for shark’s teeth and shells. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!

AMAZING Beach Cottage

What a wonderful, cozy, cute beach house! Michelle & Tom went above and beyond as hosts to make sure we had all we needed for our week stay. Great bedding, towels, furnishings, decorations, beach amenities and so much more! Too many positives to list each one! Just know if you rent this beach house, you will not be disappointed! The island is already a beautiful, magical place, and this rental made it even more so! Thanks for great memories! Johnson Family

Absolute Gem!

The property was perfectly nestled between the beach side and bay side with a very short walk to both. Super clean, cozy, and and full of amenities at your fingertips. Everything you'd need (and more!) for a stay at a remote beach house. Beach was gorgeous and the sunsets were amazing. Although we had a small glitch with the TV, it didn't deter from the wonderful time we had. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us and our doggos. We will definitely be back in the future!

Our quiet vacation

We had a great time as a family and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you much for letting us enjoy your home. My daughter Marcy had so much fun having her own room and of course the golf cart. I would wake up early in the morning and just sit in the screened porch and listen to the birds chirping ...so peaceful. We watched Gilligan's Island on TV....my idea. Thank you again.
