Great little house for a weekend stay! It accommodated all of us very well! Would definitely stay again. The house was stocked full of all kinds of stuff! Great communication too.

The Salty Mermaid was exactly what we were looking for long weekend vacation. The rental was just as listed, communication was excellent and the house was clean with a great kitchen and gas grill for cooking. We already miss it! Great rental!

Me and my sisters had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and clean. It was a peaceful relaxing stay. We would get up every morning before sunrise and walk to the beach. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels. The kitchen had plenty of oils and spices for cooking. The only thing we overlooked that wasn’t there was laundry detergent. The laundry room was wonderful though. It was a great trip.

The house had a lot of extras making it super comfy and easy to stay in. The proximity to the beach was wonderful.We were surprised that it looked like some of the guests before us did not take good care of some of the amenities, like the beach gear (snorkels and masks, in particular) Maybe a sign or two about rinsing gear and hanging thigs back up would be good as it could be that people new to beach gear might not know how to care for it. We would recommend this home to anyone needing a beach escape.

The Salty Mermaid was the perfect place for our group of 6, including 2 teens. We loved gathering at the big dining table for dinners and games. Kitchen was stocked with all the equipment we needed for the week. Great walking distance from the dock, but especially close to the beach. Host was prompt to respond to messages and check in/out could not be easier! Highly recommend this property on LGI for cleanliness, location, and great communication.

The pictures don't do it justice

The Salty Mermaid is a great place to stay on Little Gasparilla! It was exceptionally clean and very well appointed. The 3 bedrooms all had comfy beds and sheets. The bathrooms were nice and clean, and the showers were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There were a lot of towels in the house, but if you use them all, there is a washer and dryer included. There is a dining room with a table that seats 6 people. The couch / TV room is comfy and spacy. The TV appears to be 70 inches, and had subscriptions to most major streaming providers. The kitchen was very nice. Well stocked and very nicely decorated. We cooked dinner most nights and enjoyed eating on the back deck. There are numerous outdoor seating options that are comfortable and well thought out. There's even a fire pit stocked with wood! I can't say enough good things about the Salty Mermaid. We'll definitely be back. One thing to know is that the house is elevated similar to most of the houses on the island, so you do climb steps to get up to the house. This was not a problem for our family, but is something to be aware of if any one in your party has difficulty with stairs.

The salty mermaid was charming and prefect for our girls weekend. The island was quite and relaxing. The beach was beautiful. The house had everything you could think and very well stocked. The host was easy to get ahold of and communicated well. The check in and check out was easy. Definitely a great and charming getaway.
