Thank you, Jim, for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that, despite the items you mentioned, they did not seriously affect your enjoyment of your vacation. Regarding the beach, the shoreline at Shades of Blue is natural and, like beaches everywhere, it can change significantly with tides, currents, weather, and shifting sand. Unfortunately, that is something we simply cannot control. We do our best to accurately represent the property and its natural surroundings, but Mother Nature doesn’t always provide the same beach conditions from one stay to the next. As for the items inside the home, we work very hard to maintain Shades of Blue as a home that we genuinely care about not simply as a rental property. The home is frequently booked back-to-back, and because we are on a small island, obtaining replacement parts, furniture, and other items can sometimes take considerably longer than it would on the mainland. We are continually making upgrades and addressing maintenance as quickly as logistics allow. I was actually at the property recently and can confirm that the master bedroom lamp was working at that time, so it may have been an intermittent issue. We will certainly check it again, along with the blinds. We appreciate you bringing these things to our attention and are always looking for ways to improve our guests’ experience. We’re especially pleased to hear that these items did not prevent you from enjoying your vacation.
