We had a good time; it rain most of the time but the place was good and comfortable. Couldn't use the golf cart as planned but everything was good.

The Beach Glass Bungalow is a great little place to get away from the rat race of everyday life. Tucked away in a small beach town, it offers a view of the Potomac River and all the assorted waterfowl that reside in the region. The host checked in and was proactive about ensuring I was settled and doing well. The only heads up I would give is for anyone who plans on cooking. There are not a lot of pots and pans to cook with in the Beach Glass Bungalow so be sure to check with the host before you come if you need anything specific. Although I did not personally bring a pet, it is a pet friendly place to stay. The bungalow offers your own small private beach space, but the main beach area is a 7 minute walk from the house, as are a few cute shops, great places to dine, and music in the evening.

House was very clean and well set up. Make sure you rent one of Nate’s golf carts and have a great time. We especially enjoyed AM on the dock watching everything get started for the day.Thanks Nate for a great stay!!!

Loved our stay at beach glass bungalow! Wonderful views of the water from the wrap around deck, indoor dining table, and even the cozy corner of the sofa. The private beach to enjoy as often as we wanted was ideal for kids. Our young boys loved playing in the pebbles and watching the ducks. Definitely don't forget to bring water shoes! The convenience to everything in town is unmatched. Other beaches, grocery store, and playgrounds are all super easy to get too. We highly recommend Ice House Brewery and GrandPa Hawaii Shaved Ice.

Fantastic location and charming house.

We had a wonderful stay at this home-beautiful views, lovely large porch overlooking the Potomac and the house is in a great location within walking distance from the main area of the town. Would definitely recommend it and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great little vacation house.

Very clean house with private beach. Walking distance to town or a short ride down the street. Our stay was great and the owner is very responsive.

Wonderful stay!

This is our second time staying in one of Nate's properties and each time we are so pleased! The communication is outstanding and quick - you never have to wait for an answer. The homes are always clean and the locations are just lovely! This particular home was so nice that we would like to stay in it again

Lovely cottage getaway

Relaxing stay, water views, birds aplenty

Property was clean and exactly as described. We thoroughly enjoyed walking everywhere - to restaurants, the public beach, sweet local neighborhood. Bonus bird viewing (in May) with the pair of osprey nested by the water, feeding their babies. Very relaxing visit. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Colonial Beach.

Relaxation at its best!

Cute little house in a nice quiet neighborhood. The private beach area was perfect for taking our dog into the water, and we appreciate how the town was so pet friendly . Loved the quaintness of the area, how friendly everyone was, and the ease of getting around in the golf cart. The owner is very communicative and provided us with a smooth process throughout. An overall enjoyable and relaxing experience…we would stay here again!

Good Location to take your pet.

This was our first time to Colonial Beach. The neighborhood is great and we took many walks with our pup. We were able to walk many places to get food/coffee. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. The place has the normal wear and tear of a rental and the host asked us to text with any issues/or possible repairs which was great. .

Very quiet and relaxing. Nice location.

We enjoyed our stay over the Fourth of July weekend. The town of Colonial Beach was very quiet! Except for the weekend, not much is happening, shops are closed and very little night life or shopping during the week. Great property to just chill and get away. Decent fishing from shared dock. Beautiful sunsets! This is NOT a place to party! Very laid-back neighborhood.
