Step outside your door for gorgeous lake views of Bullock Pen Lake. Drop a line off the dock, or make use of complimentary fishing kayak or Jon boat with trolling motor. Enjoy a coffee on the many seating options on the covered patio, or open deck overlooking the water. Regardless of weather, there are plenty of gaming options available! Unwind with S’mores at the fire pit!
Continue to relax while still enjoying fabulous views from the comfort of the couch! The main bedroom is equipped with a super comfortable King size bed and a Serta couch/full sleeper. The second bedroom includes a full bed, with a half bath for convenience. The bonus room includes toys and many indoor and outdoor games! The smaller couch in the living room is a queen-size pullout bed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfectly situated! The owner when above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The s'more supplies were a lovely touch. We will definitely be staying here again.

Very clean with a lovely lake view. We enjoyed the purple martins. The first impression was a bit rough with rugged steps up to the entry.

We had a great time on the lake and loved the views and peacefulness of the area! There was plenty of games and things for the kids to do (we were afraid we would have more rain and be locked indoors) when unable to get outside. The host was very responsive and clear with information. Thank you for such a beautifully wonderful place to stay!

The house was perfect for what we needed. It was very clean inside and had a lot of extras available - tons of games, fishing poles, etc. The only minor drawback for us was the set of stone steps leading up to the house that are a little difficult for someone with mobility issues but we were able to navigate. Hope to be back in the future!

Nice property overall. Not many check out instructions which I appreciated. The property photos make the place look a lot nicer than what you see when you get there. The grass was not cut and vegetation was somewhat overgrown. From the photos, it looks like the property has lots of lake bank space to fish but in reality the only place to fish is from the dock- which also could use some maintenance and upkeep. Overall a nice place for a short get away. I would stay here again.

When we got there no key pad and no Internet had to drive into town to find out key was under the mat when we got in was clean went to get groceries found out on Tuesday fridge was not cooling temperature turned down sick as crap on Wednesday from eating things we thought were refrigerated and left a day early because I had bite's all over me doctor says do not look like bed bugs but something in the house was very hungry,boat was full of water deck not very secure pretty scary and no kayak, neighbors were very loud music playing all the time kid's who like to scream and bang on things and they do not keep dog on lead pit bull came after our dog was very disappointed

The host was very nice allowing us to check in early. We drive up from central Ga and not sure of distance and time. We needed additional bath towels only 6 were in the house. I washed and dried them when we needed them. Master bed was really uncomfortable, my husband moved to the sofa. The sofa bed was perfect for our two grandsons. The playroom was and the kids took advantage of that. The location was perfect for the creation museum and Ark encounter. The fixings were a great idea but we didn’t have firewood so they ate graham crackers and chocolate.

Great Stay

The place was great, we had a short stay, wish we would have had more time to take advantage of the property and amenities. We visited the ark and went to Disney on ice, very comfortable and hospitable. Would stay again.

Anniversary Getaway

Nice getaway for our 44th wedding anniversary. Centrally located to Ark & Creation Museum. Also enjoyed day trips to Rabbit Hash General Store and local wineries.

Cozy lake house

We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful little lake house! Loved the view of the lake. And it was nice and close to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum.

Perfect place

We absolutely loved the place! It was the perfect location as we traveled to visit the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. The country setting by the water was relaxing and the kids enjoyed getting out on the boat to fish-and they caught one! Thank you for a lovely stay!

if you stay a couple days at this property and don't enjoy yourself, it's your own fault! great view from both decks and little things you forget to pack are there.

We stayed comfortably here and utilized the property and all the amenities! The home is older and some improvements could be made, but I would go back again tomorrow if I could. The owners have put some thought into creating a space for people to be able to get away. We especially enjoyed getting on the water with our kids in the boat and kayaks. There is a gas grill and fire pit with s'more fixings. Several different yard games and a dart board. Full kitchen with everything we needed, we cooked for ourselve the whole time we were there. Laundry room and a separate room where kids or grown ups can sit and read books or play a game. AC and heat. There's plenty of space for a family to enjoy time together on the lake listening to the birds. Easy drive to The Ark Encounter, and about 25 minutes to the Creation Museum, the zoo and the aquarium. We also drove to Dayton and walked through the Aviation Museum. Kids are asking when we're going to go back to Kentucky.

Lake Home

Great location for Ark and Creation visits. Very quiet and peaceful. Well stocked with games and equiptment for family fun.

Really nice with thoughtful touches and inclusions

Enjoyed our stay. It was great for the time we were there. Much of the included facilities such as the boat and outdoor equipment was not used by us, but is a great inclusion for those staying longer or spending more time in the actual accommodation.
