New Listing and Newly Renovated. Come enjoy relaxing at our Waterfront Lake House Fishing FrenZee on Bullock Pen Lake. Great fishing and great location. The house is centrally located to enjoy all the activities in the area (see list below). The house is right on the lake with 2 fire pits, kayaks and cornhole and new gas grill. Also less than a mile to the Boat Ramp. All updated kitchen with dishwasher and gas stove. Master with Queen Bed and second bedroom with Bunkbed Full and twin on top and twin trundle. The basement has a large cozy couch with a large TV and a full size Golden Tee 98 and Bowling Game.

Great Lakeside Retreat!

Quiet, peaceful lakeside location! Everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided. Nice dock for fishing and perfect for an evening fire pit after a busy day. Perfect location for visiting the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Come on out to the lake and enjoy!

Great Lake House

My family fully enjoyed everything this lake house has to offer. Highlights for us included the kayaks, the griddle on the back deck, the cornhole boards, the firepit, the dock, the golden tee arcade in the basement, and the super clean and updated interior. Thanks Dee for making it such a great space!

Church camp meeting/relaxing get away

This property was great. Very clean and family friendly. Dee was very easy to get in touch with and made us feel at home. The guys in the family crew said the fishing was top notch!!

Excellent Vacation stay

We had a wonderful time! The house is excellent - clean, cozy, new appliances, everything very well-appointed! We spent our days, though, in the kayaks, paddling around the lake, enjoying the nature! Highly recommend!

Clean but small

The host was great with communication before & during the stay. The house itself was very clean, but is very small. If you have 2-3 people visiting or are not trying to manage naps with others around, it would be a better fit for you. We had five individuals (two adults, two small child, one infant), & it was just too small. We knew the home would be on the smaller side, which we have done before without issue. However, the living space is generally slightly larger and/or the outdoor space is more usable than this home. Looking back at listing photos now, we can see things that would have turned us off beforehand - the basement is not a finished basement and is not suitable for children to play in at all. Again, for older youth or adults, it would be okay, but I personally did not want to hang out down there, which reduced the living area size (we thought it would be a usable downstairs from the description). The outside is nice but is a very steep slope to the lake. With elementary aged children, we were unable to let them run around & play in the yard. Again, looking more closely at listing photos, it is sloped. We just did not realize how much until we arrived. The neighborhood was mostly quiet, though the next door neighbor was closer than we would have liked. We could hear his phone conversations outside, so I'm sure he could hear us as well. It was kind of an eye sore, but we never felt unsafe. Overall, the home was great if you know what to expect & have those needs.

Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful

Our stay was wonderful. It was so nice to return to the cabin after a day of sightseeing to rest and relax. We loved the kayaks, bean bags, fire pit, etc. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to make our evening meals. It was also in a great location! Thank you so much for sharing your lake home with us.

Ark encounter

We stayed three nights. The house was very cleaned. Neighbors were quiet. Did not get the opportunity to enjoy The kayak because ran out of time.

Relaxing location for Ark and Creation museums

Visited for four nights with my wife and two granddaughters. The property was as described, located on a small lake, with lots of amenities, including kayaks, fishing, fire pit, corn hole, etc. Communcation from the owner was timely, and checkin easy and smooth. The house was clean and well furnished and stocked. We used it as our base to visit the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, and Cincinnati Zoo. It is centrally located for all of these, and made for very relaxing evenings after a busy day. We enjoyed fishing, corn hole, sitting and grilling on the back deck. Too hot for a fire, but there are two fire pits! The property was perfect for us, and highly recommend.

Our week in Kentucky.

This was our first big trip post-Covid. Started the trip planning to see the area sites and we did. But my husband doesn’t really relax and enjoy the quiet time unless we find a place on a lake for a little bit of fishing. Our daughter is 17 and may not want to travel with us many more times, so she got the opportunity to make some fishing memories with her Pops. Dee is a great host, every thing was wonderful and we appreciate the time spent in her home! The neighbors are very kind and helpful too!

Lake House

We had a wonderful experience. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood which allowed us to relax. The host provided fishing gear and kayaks which was a nice addition. It was super nice to kayak on the lake which was right next to the house. All amenities were there plus some. Dee who was our host was on top of communication and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this property.

Relaxing getaway

Great lakeside getaway!

Love loved this lake house!

This is the perfect property between the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter! The Lake house was definitely a nice suprise and better than expected! Everything is nicely updated and remodeled. The neighbors are very friendly. Dee was such a fantastic host and even gave my oldest son some pointers on fishing. When we arrived we found a specialized gift just for us! It was a much needed get a way and my kids said it was by far their favorite vacation place and we have been to a lot of places! There was so many options to sit and relax by the lake. We loved the dock to fish, we spent a lot of time in the boats and explored the whole lake! We saw so much wildlife, cranes, beavers, racoons, fish jumping, deer, squirrels and we kept our eye out for that Eagle! If we ever are back this way from Colorado we will definitely stay here. Just book this property, you wont regret it! Thanks Dee!!

Amazing

This is the perfecr getaway. Right on the lake with plenty of outdoor activities . Between the kayaks, fishing, corn hole & huge deck overlooking the lake its a wonderful way to spend the day outdoors. The lake house is cute & modern & stocked with everything you could need. It was clean & welcoming. I absolutely recommend!!!

Lovely little lake house

This is a great property! Very clean and updated with some original character left in the design. Cozy & comfy! Downstairs room was great with games and fishing gear. All the outside areas were a huge bonus. We had everything we needed except a pitcher for sweet tea. LOL! We bought one at the DG and left it incase any other sweet tea drinkers visit. We had a lovely gift waiting on us and it’s perfect for a great reminder of our vacation. We visited Ohio, Indiana and of course the Ark Encounter and Creation museum. Great location and beautiful area!!

Great little cabin!

This cabin was super cute and cozy. It was perfect for my husband and I to celebrate his birthday for a weekend get away. There was a 2nd bedroom that could also sleep 3, so we would be fine if we bring our kids next time. The cabin was clean and updated with comfortably furniture, wifi, and TV. The use of newer, clean kayaks was an added bonus. It was much easier than having to bring our own along. This section of the lake was easy to navigate and made for a nice, relaxing paddle. We really loved the gift of the personalized blanket, such a sweet way for the hostess to thank us for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked, if you want to cook or grill outside. The location was convenient to the Ark Encounter, several restaurants, bourbon tours, and to Cincinnati where we enjoyed the zoo. We were able to make several outing on our weekend get away because of this location. I definitely recommend this cottage and would stay here again. Thank you to Dee, the owner, for such a lovely stay.
