Palms of Wailea #1605 It is an elegant ground floor, tropical garden view 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with a fully-stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, partial air conditioning, and complimentary wifi. The primary bedroom suite is luxurious with a separate soaker tub situated near the California King bed for ultimate relaxation. It also provides a Smart TV so you can catch some entertainment before retiring for the night. The en suite bathroom includes a shower. You can conveniently access your spacious lanai directly from your bedroom or from your living room. The guest bedroom is equipped with a celing fan and a queen bed. The well-appointed living room in Palms at Wailea #1605 supplies a cable television and a queen sofa bed, and the lovely dining table is the perfect location for celebratory meals. Included in the unit are beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler for your memorable beach days. This unit sleeps 6.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.

Palms in Paradise

We spent 15 days in paradise and the unit worked very well for us. The property is gorgeous with a beautiful pool area and grills located throughout the property. Our specific unit was very clean and well maintained. The best part was the outdoor living area...it is huge with two separate dining areas and a lounge space. We loved how close we were to many restaurants, shopping and the beach is a short ten minute walk from this unit. A few things that stopped it from being a 5 for us:1) In the listing it said the pool was open untl 10, however it was only open until 9. This was a deciding factor for us in choosing a unit and we were pretty disappointed.2) The pool was pretty chilly and several days the hot tub was not heated.3) We had a few tiny ants in kitchen---not serious at all, but just noting this.4) The sofa bed was unusable---very, very uncomfortable. We had to run out the night we got there to get an air mattress and that worked fine for us.**One important thing to note is that there is only air conditioning in the master bedroom. The listing does state this, however some of the nights were toug sleeping cuz we didn't want to keep windows open on a first floor unit.Many, many pros:* lots of extra pillows for beds* included many beach items (chairs, umbrellas, etc) including many beach towels* Kitchen well stocked inc. extra spices and oils in kitchen*Good condition*Good Communication---Host responsive Overall: 4.7

Accommodations in Paradise!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and good value. Easy to get to shops and activities. Only AC unit was in the Master Bedroom, and the rest of the rooms had fans. Multiple steps to get down to this unit. Three steps down into sunken Living Area and Kitchen.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The service e by Maui rental staff was excellent however the unit was very very disappointing. Fridge did not work the first day, ants in kitchen, bathroom and on some counters, very old and run down furniture and appliances, cob webs in corners of rooms. Would not stay at this unit again.

Great Spot in Wailea

We really enjoyed our stay at The Palms in Wailea. Check in was very simple and straight forward and the home was well stocked with bedding, towels and dishes. We spent most of our evenings out on the patio watching all of the birds and enjoying the scenery. The pool and hottub area were a nice break from the ocean after a day of diving. The only downfall we found was that the place needed to have a deep clean done as there were quite a few dirty hand prints from little ones over the walls and the floors could have used a really good scrub. There were rocks that were collected underneath one of the night stands in the spare room and dust bunnies and small pieces of garbage under beds and in the pullout couch. There were no general cleaning supplies in the unit so we grabbed a few things to clean the counters and table, neither showed obvious dirt or stains but it's nice to be able to keep the place tidy while you're there as well as when we did initially wipe the counters they appeared quite dirty on the rag.

Excellent customer service, unit itself is run-down

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a really positive experience with Rentals Maui, professional staff, very helpful, great communication, the process was smooth.But the unit itself has not been kept up for a long time it seems. For example, ceiling fans on high speed seem like they're about to fall down; some windows don't open, or open and don't close (the mechanical knob doesn't work); locks on screen sliding doors are broken (we had a young child so couldn't keep the sliding doors open for that reason).There are other things that we already knew about, so that was ok: (1) lack of AC anywhere except the master bedroom, but we weren't going during a particularly hot season, and (2) street noise, but that's ok if all doors/windows are shut. I think if the unit is freshened up a bit, it would be a much lovelier stay. Mahalo team Rentals Maui for your other support!

Wonderful Stay

The location was very low key … It wasn’t on the water but the neighbor was very quiet and peaceful, just what the doctor ordered. There are some stairs unfortunately I missed that during the initial booking. The furniture was very dated, The bed’s slept very good. The house arrangement was a little weird because the electrical sockets were very low to the floor including the light switches. But overall wonderful stay. Thanks for the stay.

Good family vacation spot

We found this property on short notice when looking for a spring break destination for our family. We have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and they had lots of fun playing in the yard, the house, and the pool. The downside of this place is there is no central A/C. That wasn't a huge issue since there is A/C in the master bedroom and the spare room has two fans. It's walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

Hawaii Family Vacation

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All was good re bedrooms, bathrooms. Plenty of bedding, towels, etc all in good condition. Our dissatisfaction is with the living area. The couch is old,seat cushions no longer with shape, covering is dingy. Downing table is of a vintage now, as are chairs, too large for the space. Not a single cushion anywhere, not in living space, not on new outdoor lounges. In general, not comfortable and poor lighting didn't help.

Maui Vacay

A lot of road noise. Would not let us rent golf carts, no place to plug in. Harassed by upstairs guest regarding smoking. Unit needs major upgrade and some repairs. Other than that, Maui did not disappoint.

Our stay in this condo was excellent. The property was very clean and was located in a beautiful area. Although the layout of it takes a little bit of getting used to, we would definitely stay at this condo again!

Exactly as advertised

This unit was Very comfortable and had plenty of room for the 4 adults and 2 children in our group. The unit was exactly as advertised and looked just like the photos online. The area was peaceful and family friendly.

Great spot great location

This property was wonderful. It’s spacious and near the best beaches and dinner spots. The hosts are responsive (had a small issue with the shower and they addressed right away). Would recommend!

Loved every minute of it

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect for us. It's a super short walk from a fantastic beach, and the unit had everything we needed for a beach day: plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, a cooler, a travel mug, and even a little boogie board. The internet worked great for what we needed; the water pressure in the showers was great; it was amazing to have a BBQ whenever we wanted to make food; the fridge had a built-in ice maker; and the shared pool and hot tub on the property was great when we just wanted to take a quick dip. The only things we'd like to see improved is the binds over our sink window in the kitchen weren't able to be closed, we couldnt find tongs to use for the BBQ, and we found the mattress to be a bit too soft for our liking. But none of these issues were deal breakers and we would be delighted to stay here again on our next visit to Maui.

Palms at Wailea 1605

Property was clean, and in a nice quiet location. The pool was nice, and relaxing. Parking is right in front of unit. Air conditioning is set in main bedroom, so the other rooms don't get the full advantage of the AC. The other rooms did get warm, but manageable with the available fans.

Excellent choice

Location was great. Quick walk to the beach and or pool. We could see the ocean from our patio/grass area. The property was well taken care of and very beautiful. Parking space was right in front of our unit. Property management was very responsive and accommodating. We requested a couple of things and they had it handled quickly.
