Enjoy lazy beach days and brilliant Lake Michigan sunsets at this spacious home directly on Lake Michigan. While most homes in Holland are on high bluffs, this one sits directly in the sand and is adjacent to the Holland State Park. Enjoy your private space on our most popular beach. The views are spectacular, and the access to the water is unapparelled. The house has plenty of room for your friends and family to spread out in one of the five bedrooms spanning this three story home. Live the cottage life in a modern, well appointed home on the beach. Our listing photos show boardwalks and steps, but not everyone notices you need to use these to get to the house. You will have to walk boardwalks and steps. We think with a little ingenuity anyone can get to the house. We were even able to figure out a way for a guest in a wheelchair to spend a week at the house. If you have concerns, reach out before booking so we can fully explain the ways to get to the house.

Wonderful Stay

Great house and great location. Very comfortable for a large family gathering. Beach chairs, toys, and other amenities were very good. Very enjoyable.

Ottawa Beach

Terrific location. Very nice house that was cleaned. Plenty of room. A number of beach accessories were provided. Gas grill was filthy and could not be used. Contacted property manager and got no response.

Hi Tom, How did you contact us? I have zero record of a text, email or app message. I am sorry the grill was not clean. We could have absolutely rectified that. It is a shame you were at the house for a week and we did not hear from you once. I even sent a message to you to see how things were going and did not receive a response. The only message we have record of is when you checked in asking about a dog leash at 5:47 pm. I responded at 6:39 with instructions (which were also listed on the refrigerator of the home). I say in my check in instructions to please reach out if something is not five stars, we cannot fix it for you by reading negative feedback in a review. We are happy other than the grill you, your family and your pet had a good stay and loved the location and the cleanliness of the house and all the beach gear provided. Thanks,

Even better than we anticipated

This 20+ year old beach cottage suited our family very well. The location is terrific, and the property has been well maintained. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and cookware as well as seasonings and a few other staples. There were also plenty of beach toys and nice new beach chairs. We had a few minor questions and complaints at the beginning and property manager. Beth was very responsive. Parking and distance to the cottage are the only downside at this location, but that’s part of what made it feel so pleasantly removed From the hustle and bustle and other vacationers.
