Nice cabin in a beautiful park-like setting. We enjoyed fishing and ventured out for a hike on the AT.

We enjoyed our stay in Suches. This is a perfect get away from the crowds and traffic in more popular North Ga areas. The cabin was clean and very private. Our dogs absolutely LOVED the fenced pasture that they were allowed to be off leash in! They ran and ran and ran! I also was able to walk in the river and absolutley loved it. The birds were very entertaining and we even had a chip monk that visited under the bird feeder daily. So many flowers were blooming! Hydrangeas every where and buttlerfly bushes. Beautiful place and we enjoyed ourselves very much

Cozy, comfortable, with a great field which made a perfect yard for pups! Hummingbirds and songbirds off your front porch, and fire pit and river out the back. Great grounds to stroll around, responsive owner, and great caretakers down the road if you need them, gated, peaceful, and feels very secure. Can't say enough good things!

Property was great from the river in the back to a huge fenced area for the dogs to run. Location was nicely secluded yet centrally located for multiple day trips.

It is hard for me to find the privacy I like, but this place was excellent. 20 acres, riverfront and no neighbors.

Quiet, cozy, and beautiful outdoors area

We loved our stay! It was perfect for the two of us. We especially liked the birds by the front porch, the fish ponds, and the beautiful location! We would definitely like to visit again.

We had a lovely time. The property is beautiful and our son had a good time fishing. It is a bit far from the towns but a lovely place to stay.

Very cozy stay

Great communication with the owner and was exactly as described. Deer in the yard every night and the most diverse population of birds ever! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon

Quite and peaceful

Everything was great, very clean and quiet place to stay away from town and the crowds. Enjoyed fishing in the river and catching a small trout. Host was very helpful with instructions and directions to various places. Would stay there again!

The cabin was nice and cozy and very well insulated but it could use better lighting throughout the cabin but the property was fantastic lots of space and privacy for our labs to run and play.We had a great week of relaxing and the labs had a wonderful time running and playing in the river.The host was very easy to contact if needed.We will definitely revisit.

A delightful getaway

A wonderful cabin tucked away on the Toccoa River in a beautiful setting. Carol is an excellent communicator and provided us with everything necessary for a delightful getaway. Highly recommended!!

Our stay here far exceeded my expectations! The pictures do not do the beautiful property or charming cabin justice. The cabin was equipped with everything we could need for our stay, was perfectly clean and well maintained, and was so cozy we immediately started planning another trip just to stay again. My fiancée and I brought our dog, who thoroughly enjoyed the huge fenced pasture and easily accessible creek. The fence is very secure and I felt comfortable letting him run free. It was hard to convince him to stay inside haha. Overall it was very pet friendly!The property was huge and very private! We saw maybe 4 people our whole stay. There are not many stores nearby, but the kitchen was well equipped so cooking was a breeze. There are so many waterfalls nearby to explore and there is wildlife everywhere. We saw a doe and fawn on the property on the first day, and turkeys the next. End of stay clean up was very simple. The cabin felt very clean and well cared for overall. Our host was easy to reach. I honestly can’t think of anything I would change about our stay. Everything was perfect and we look forward to coming back!

A beautiful spot and obviously well-loved by the owner. Enjoyed walking the property and dogs loved all the space to run and explore. Although it rained most of the time we were there we still got in several close by hikes. I would have given 5 stars but the cabin itself, while clean and well stocked, was dark and cluttered. While some sunshine would have helped, it just was not my cup of tea.

We had a relaxing quiet week between Christmas and New Years. Our dogs loved the fenced in pasture to run in.

Peaceful and perfect

This cabin was exactly as described on the site. It is peaceful and secluded and in a great location. We were able to take day trips to Dahlonega, Helen and Blue Ridge on our stay as each town is a short drive from the cabin. The cabin is decorated in a very lodge-like way and really encourages you to enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding it. We plan to stay here again in the future.

Perfect location

Let me say first, this is not one of the 'scary driving up hill hard to get to without a 4 wheel drive' places. This is a place with relatively large flat yard, lots of river frontage as well as close up hill trails. It is very we will definitely return. peaceful and comfortable.

Perfect Fit

My 21 year old son and I went to walk the rivers and fish. We were able to do most of it right behind the house. The property is amazing with all the flowers, trees, bushes and birds. Very well kept.

Best time in 8 years

This was our first vaca in 8 yrs. We have a 40 acre farm and cannot get away. It was nice to have 20 acres of peace and river. Will use again hopefully.

After thanksgiving’s get away with my elder sisters and brother

Beyond expectations the cabin was cozy and adorable. The grounds were picturesque The river was easily accessible for all include members with limited mobility. The variety of birds were the special treat and keeping the bird feeders full . The owner provided clear and concise instructions hope to return soon
