Stay at Daisy's Place in the Sonoma / Napa Wine Country

Daisy’s Place is an affordable, family-friendly vacation rental located in the heart of the beautiful Carneros Wine Region. Built in the late 40s, Daisy’s was originally a farmhouse in a pear orchard. The house has been updated with a spacious covered redwood deck surrounds 3 sides of the house. Also surrounding the house on 2 sides is a creek studded with the stately old live oaks native to our region, and hundreds of acres of vineyards lie beyond the creek. Native flowers and lots of lawn space complete the landscape. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and comfortably sleeps 6 guests, but can accommodate 8 guests. Daisy's is fully furnished with all the amenities, including forced air heating and air conditioning.

While Daisy's is situated in a peaceful country setting, it is conveniently close to both the towns of Sonoma and Napa. If you are interested in walking around the historic Sonoma Plaza, there many different shops and activities to be found, from antiquing, wine tasting, art galleries, shopping for unique gifts or you can enjoy some of the finest dining establishments.

Napa is only about 20 minutes away, where you can enjoy the Wine Train, the Napa Opera House or the shopping at the unique Oxbow Public Market, where you can taste some fine wine, exquisite cheeses, superb coffee, and many other local delicacies.

For the outdoor enthusiast, Daisy's is perfect for cycling where you can ride for many miles on long country roads with little traffic and will experience some of the most breathtaking views overlooking the valley.

Tucked away with vineyards practically in the yard. Very cool neighborhood My adult children and grandbaby LOVED the horse running by the windows and the cutest Weiner dogs that will play with you all day if you want!

Daisy Place

This was a great location. It made it so easy to get around. Ed, the owner was easy to work with and was prompt in responding to emails and texts. The grounds were beautiful as well. What I really enjoyed was he had a 6 month old miniature schnauzer that we go to play with when we were there.

Sonoma in July 2025

The property is great, this is our 2nd stay. Very quiet & secluded area. Water pressure is not very good. Drainage in the hall bathroom bathtub is extremely slow. Drain pipe probably needs to be snaked. Wouldn’t use Drano because it would probably eat through the pipe. Both bathrooms should probably be updated. Dishwasher in the kitchen is not attached so it moves every time you open the dishwasher door to put dishes in. Television currently has three remote controls one doesn’t work so it should actually be thrown away (silver Xfinity remote). The sheet in the “book” of channels to watch from Xfinity needs to be updated. I would still recommend staying here. Ed is a fantastic host!!

Great spot in Sonoma!

Beautiful property and house. Exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Communication and check in were so easy. Tucked away and private, but still very close to the town centre and short drive to so many great wineries.

Nice Stay for 6

My husband was a groomsman with two other friends for a wedding at a nearby winery. We had three couples staying at Daisy’s place and it was perfect for us. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Check in was easy. The kitchen was stocked and fully functional for our morning coffee and to make some snacks for the wedding party later on. While the husbands went off for wedding duties, the wives had no problems exploring the areas nearby, then getting ready back at the house. There was a heat wave the weekend we stayed and the AC worked perfectly. We also loved seeing the wild turkeys! Check out instructions were clear and easy. Our only note is to be aware of opening the windows. As the house is on an open field, there are bugs and some seemed to have made their way in through one of the bedroom windows, attracted to the light at night. To be expected, but just a note in case you’re afraid of bugs like my friend is. We just closed the window and turned the AC back on. Overall, we had a great stay, perfect for our needs during the wedding, and would recommend Daisy’s place to others!

Fantastic place to stay!

My family and I rented this place as a base for the Wine train. It was great. Beds were comfy, ac worked well, and the back porch was peaceful. Its tucked away, the only thing I heard sitting out back were the singing birds.

Weekend stay

My mother, sister, niece and I needed a place to stay while hosting our younger sisters baby shower in Napa. This was an ideal location, plenty of space, and affordable compared to many other options locally. Host was accommodating and easy to reach. FYI, kitchen is not well stocked for extensive cooking so bring your own if you’re planning on doing much food prep.

Lovely space near Sonoma raceway

We needed a place to stay while having an event at Sonoma raceway and this place was perfect. Tucked away, private, comfortable, and close to the raceway as well as many wineries! Would definitely stay again.

beautifulful views

We had a great time at Daisy's house. The view was really pretty - and the porch was so nice. Some things to improve on - the outdoor furniture is very worn - pillows, cushions, etc. The living room has everything you need but is very dated. Other than that everything was perfect for us. The bedrooms were clean - everyone has a place to sleep. Everything we needed - great value for the money.

Rustic Charming Home in Fantastic Location

2 couples traveling to enjoy beautiful wine country. Ed was a wonderful host meeting us at the property and answering questions during our stay. The house is older and quaint with a wonderful wrap around deck overlooking a vineyard. This is NOT fancy, modern or well decorated, but it is a terrific location with comfortable beds and a hot shower. The price is a good value for the location! Will stay again.

Excellent experience

This is a charming house. Found it clean and quiet, nice to stay after a long day of activities. The only problem is that it is a bit hard to find our way there. It would be helpful if a detailed map around the house is provided.

Daisy’s Place

We stayed over the Labor Day weekend. The property is peaceful and has a beautiful wrap around porch. Perfect to enjoy morning coffee. Just a short drive to nice restaurants and great walking. We had 5 adults and 1 child. Plenty of space to enjoy being together.

Pleasant weekend stay in Sonoma

This home in Sonoma is simple, conveniently located and had everything we needed for our family's weekend stay. We were using this home as overflow space & spent most of our time at another nearby home. The beds are comfortable, the porch outside the house is lovely to sit on and has an excellent view. And the host is very kind and accessible in case you need anything. Would recommend this location unless you are looking for a place that has lots of amenities.

Daisy's is conveniently located, giving you the country feel, with vineyards, old oak trees and creek behind the house. Yet it is only a short drive to both Sonoma and Napa.

The wrap around deck is wonderful place to hang out drink coffee in the morning, or barbecue in the evening.
