Excellent stay very clean and accommodating everything and more was listed. Great location between Boone and West Jeff. Cabin has everything you need. Will definitely stay again.

What a great place in the woods! We loved our stay at this little piece of heaven. Our golden retriever was so happy to come with us and explore the area as well! Close to Boone, Grandfather Mountain… so much to explore. We stayed in one of our days and grilled dinner and ate outside at the picnic table. Sat on the front porch and watched the wild canaries and hummingbirds. Made a fire in the fireplace. Watched a movie. So cozy! Highly recommend.

Feels like home!

This is our third time staying at the cabin and it truly was a charm! We love the feel of the place as well and the walking trails throughout the property! We brought our pup with us and I’m not sure who enjoyed it more! Can not wait to come back. Than you Jeff for such hospitality and friendliness!

A Peaceful Mountain Escape – Just What We Needed

We had an amazing Mother’s Day weekend at this peaceful mountain retreat. My family and I were looking for a quiet getaway, and this place delivered in every way. Our boys had the time of their lives exploring the woods and the creek, and our dog has officially decided the mountains are his favorite place on earth. I especially loved sipping tea on the porch swing, looking out into the trees—it was so serene and grounding. The home was clean, well-stocked, and truly felt like a home away from home. The host was absolutely wonderful—kind, flexible, and responsive. The mountains are our happy place, and this stay only deepened our love for them. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your space with us, Jeff!

Picturesque cabin

Loved our stay. The location is gorgeous and an easy drive to both Boone and W. Jefferson. Cabin had everything we needed. We were there for a football game but was hard to leave the peacefulness of the cabin.

Great mountain getaway

The cabin was beautiful and we had a very comfortable stay. This is a true cabin and it is well stocked. The property is beautiful and private. We have friends in the area and we would definitely stay here again! Thanks for everything.

Great getaway!

We enjoyed our stay here, as did our dogs! The cabin is on a beautiful piece of land off the beaten path, which made it peaceful and relaxing. The owner provides many nice touches to make it feel like home away from home. Close enough to Boone/Blowing Rock to enjoy that area as well. We had a great time!

Great venue and very dog friendly.

Descriptions are accurate and it's a great cabin located in very quiet area yet close to everything West Jefferson, Boone, blowing rock, etc have to offer. Cabin was clean and very well stocked. Thoroughly enjoyed the wood burning fireplace...made it very cozy on cool nights. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay there again.

Short escape

This was a wonderful escape for my daughters and doggies. The place was comfy and they provided everything we needed plus more. We only used the microwave so not sure about other appliances. The wood burning fireplace was most definitely the most used accommodation and it was awesome. Definitely will use again if we go back to Jefferson.

Adventure

Loved the cabin and the privacy of the property. However as a pet owner myself I think previous tenants should have cleaned better from their pets. Still loved the cabin. Would have liked to have known how steep the road was. We did not have a 4 wheel drive, so it was a challenge to get out the drive to main road. Jeff answered every question we had and was very prompt. Family said great memories on an adventure. Loved it. I would have given a higher rating but the drive was a definite challenge for us.
