Great mountain getaway

The cabin was beautiful and we had a very comfortable stay. This is a true cabin and it is well stocked. The property is beautiful and private. We have friends in the area and we would definitely stay here again! Thanks for everything.

Great Cabin

Great remote cabin. It was nice to bring our dogs and enjoy the weekend. Cabin was clean and stocked.

Great venue and very dog friendly.

Descriptions are accurate and it's a great cabin located in very quiet area yet close to everything West Jefferson, Boone, blowing rock, etc have to offer. Cabin was clean and very well stocked. Thoroughly enjoyed the wood burning fireplace...made it very cozy on cool nights. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay there again.

Mountain Oasis

We really enjoyed this cabin. Very quiet, well maintained, clean and comfortable. The trails around the property were awesome, our dog’s loved it. We we would definitely rent again.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Quiet and secluded yet close to all the area has to offer. Jeff is a great host and responds quickly. Our dog loved hiking the trails around the cabin. We can't wait to go back!

Cozy and Tranquil

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful cabin. It felt so remote and peaceful. Loved the cooler evenings in front of the firepit. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable with plenty of room. It was a wonderful getaway and perfect spot to unplug!

So relaxing!

Such a great time reading and relaxing by a REAL fire and the pups loved the six acres! Boone was just 20 minutes away.

Best rental… ever

What a wonderful place! It was so fantastic my husband didn’t want to leave the property! The cabin was beautifully and had everything we needed and more! The property was awesome for us and our pups to roam. Any questions we had were promptly answered by the owner and he went out of his way to be accommodating! Can’t wait to stay again!

Absolutely perfect!

Beautiful, relaxing, clean, and just perfect! Cannot think of a single thing that would need to be improved. We loved being able to take our dogs, they had a great time as week. Will definitely be back.

Great Getaway

Everything we hoped for in our mountain getaway. The cabin was perfect, and Jeff was great to work with. Great location between Boone and West Jefferson, and just far enough off the beaten path to give you that cozy mountain retreat feel. The wood burning fireplace was great! The cabin was clean and well maintained. Truely a hidden gem! We will be back!

Short escape

This was a wonderful escape for my daughters and doggies. The place was comfy and they provided everything we needed plus more. We only used the microwave so not sure about other appliances. The wood burning fireplace was most definitely the most used accommodation and it was awesome. Definitely will use again if we go back to Jefferson.

Perfect cabin in the woods

This nicely decorated cabin is a perfect getaway from city life. We were able to literally go for a hike on the extensive property and spotted deer a few times. The fireplace and outside fire pit are supplied with a copious amount of fire wood. The well stocked kitchen is ideal for those who enjoy doing their own cooking. Highly recommend.

Perfect!

A wonderful get a way! Communication with owner, Jeff, was great! He answered all questions in a very timely manner. Cabin was absolutely incredible! Nothing lacking at all. Very clean and anything needed was provided. This was our second time staying at this cabin, and we will definitely go back again. We relaxed, hiked and just had an incredible time!

Amazing!

My husband & I celebrated our 3rd anniversary at this beautiful cabin and we absolutely loved it! We very much enjoyed the hiking trail behind the cabin with the swings, the fire pit, deer running all through the woods around the cabin, and of course the inside was decorated perfectly. We are so glad that Jeff allowed us to visit there with our dog and cannot wait to visit again. Thank you so much, Jeff!
