A charming little outpost built from rough cut timber overlooking the marsh in the valley basin below. Wake up each morning to the chorus of remote wilderness, unwind over a deep soak in the large jacuzzi tub, and recharge in living silence on the balcony of creation.

Welcome to God’s Country Getaways! Surrounded by forested ridges, farm field valleys, and spring fed trout streams. We are literally over the river and through the woods!

The gravel roads wind through the forest like a secret trail, dipping and climbing over rolling hills to your own private escape!

Adventure turns to relaxation with the turn of a key.

Entire Cabin

Self-check in, details will be sent on the day of the reservation.

During winter months, all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended.

During summer our archery shop and 3D archery course will be open May-Sept on the weekends, the cabins are not affected.

The house was beautiful the scenery was beautiful its such a nice quiet getaway for my husband and i to have some alone time without any kids or responsibilities or schedules. The responsivensss of the host was very fast. The brewery close by was ansolutely amazing food and great friendly people working there. Great experience.

Perfect little place for a getaway. Clean, comfortable and nice amenities for a cabin in the woods. Beautiful setting, and still within driving distance of restaurants and other recreational activities.

Clean, cozy, and beautiful escape. The grill/smoker was awesome and we loved sitting on the wrap-around porch to listen to the wildlife around us. Kyle and Kirsty were communicative and responsive hosts. This was the perfect secluded cabin getaway!

Gorgeous Location and Perfect Cabin!

Wow - i could not be more impressed with our stay this past weekend. Absolutely breathtaking setting, wonderfully secluded cabin, and the rental itself was the perfect blend of rustic and well-appointed. Being able to smoke foods out on the porch and enjoy the Jacuzzi in front of a picture window was spectacular. Can't wait to return!

Our stay was for 3 nights in early July. The cabin was accurately depicted in the on-line description, describing a very quiet, peaceful, remote and relaxing and wooded ambience "like a secret trail, dipping and climbing over rolling hills to your own private escape". The perfect environment, we thought, to spend a few days during my recuperation from a recent illness.To our very surprise, the first two days and nights of our stay were shattered by the continuous explosion of fireworks set off by one of the other "guests" staying in another nearby guest house. As if the nerve-wracking sounds of the fireworks weren't enough, the thick smell and cloud of sulfur and black powder filled the entire valley all around our cabin and permeated into the house despite having to keep the doors and windows closed tight. This went on for hours on both of the first two days and well into the evenings. The only respite was for us to leave the area and venture back close to midnight.Unfortunately, the owners of this property were no where to be had to manage this total disruption of "peace and serenity" we had hoped for. Unfortunately, these weary travelers will not be returning to God's Country Getaway.

Great property

The check in process was a breeze! And we had a cute little dog that greeted us and came up to the cabin with us. A few ear scratches and he headed back down. The cabin is in a great location, very private. The cabin was very clean! The bed was very comfortable and the linens were very soft.The internet was not the greatest but you don’t need it with such a beautiful view. I would highly recommend staying here!

This was a perfect place. Great property owners that are friendly. But absolutely beautiful cabin. Words and pictures dont do this cabin justice. Will be going back as soon as possible.

Great Escape!

My boyfriend & I needed to escape over the Holiday weekend to get out in nature & unplug. It was AMAZING! You're way off the beaten path and we absolutely LOVED our stay! Id definitely come back! :) Thanks again!
