The home is nestled in a private culdesac lot in the Sunset Heights Addition just a few minutes off of I-40. 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with plenty of room for friends and family to relax. Enjoy the Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need.. Large open floor plan with breathtaking lake views from the living room and kitchen! Living area has plenty of comfy seating, smart TV, w-fi and board games. Sit outside all evening on the expansive deck with fire pit or go fish and swim off the private dock. Have a boat? Bring your boat and leave it in your own slip all weekend! Neighborhood boat ramp is available as well as the public ramp just around the corner. Close to all the conveniences of Checotah as well as the fun activites in Eufaula, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park, antique shops and restaurants.

Birthday Weekend - NO Better View

Had a great time here! The view is amazing, sun sets over the water, and you can sit in the deck and enjoy it! The private dock/boat slip was nice. No complaints!

First time for us

They made the living room and kitchen nice. But the rest of the house and the outside was not great. And the dock needs a lot of work. The walkway to the dock was full of spiders and spiderwebs. We went there to fish off the dock. Did not enjoy that part at all. And the bathroom. The shower is terrible. The knob is broke so you have to turn the who part to get the water to come on and you barely get it to the temp you want and then it turns cold so you have to turn it off and wait awhile and let it get hot again and start the process over, it was not good at all. They need to do some work on that bathroom. Since this was our first time do people have to clean before they leave. They sent me an email and told me to start the dish washer and throw all the trash out into the dumpsters outside and don't worry about the bedding they had cleaning people to do that. I didn't know when had to clean house before leaving. Please let me know if this is how things are done on all rentals.

Great Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and relaxing. It was close enough to town that we could go when needed but still very secluded. I would defiantly stay here again.

Fantastic lake property

We had the best time. We spent the whole day at the dock fishing. There is cornhole and a grill. Photos show a propane grill but it is charcoal so we ran to town to get some charcoal to cook dinner. House is neat, well kept and well stocked. The only issue we had was the master bedrooms bed was incredibly uncomfortable (which is totally subjective) and every time either my husband or i rolled over it creaked and would wake everyone up. Outside of that, this house is a dream. Host was very responsive and accomodating.

Memory Lane with Family

Short stay visiting kids/grandkids in a beautiful home (right next door where i grew up....great memories). Location, owners and home made our trip so much easier, memorable and perfect for our get together. Highly recommend and will hopefully stay again.

Absolutely Horrible

The pictures do not match the property as things do not match. I feel scammed for the price paid. Interior is infested with bugs and the house is not maintained. Family had allergy issues in this house as the furnace filter has not been changed in years. Most things are broken or missing parts. Furniture broken, Foosball table missing ball and table is broken. No kayaks, gas grill or bean bags. Parts of the deck is broken and unsafe. The pictures must be 5 years old and/or hide many things. Do not stay here unless you want to be disappointed.

Beautiful Views on the Lake

This lake property accommodated our family of four for a long weekend. The layout was good for a family, A/C kept us cool, and the floor plan is open. There is only one smaller bathroom so you need to be willing to share. The owners are very attentive and helped us address some issues we had during our stay. Being close to the water does bring critters so keep that in mind when you are looking to stay on the waterfront.

Great Getaway!

This was a great house for a weekend getaway!!! We met friends and family for the weekend! The boat dock was great for our friend's boat. We rented jet skis from Fountainhead Marina which is straight across the lake from the house! The location of the house is perfect because it's between Checotah (WalMart), and Eufaula (fun shopping, Yogi Bear Resort, food, etc). We will definitely be back!

Relaxing, beautiful views

Property was as described, beautiful wrap around deck. All the basic amenities were there, beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked good even on 100+ days. The small lake at the entrance to the neighborhood was also convenient to launch kayaks (brought our own) and swim.

Beautiful view, porch was great.

The view was beautiful, couldn’t ask for a better morning spot. The house it very cozy, my family loved laying around after a day on the lake. They had basic dishes and pans. The parking might be difficult if you have more then one vehicle or trailer, but still manageable. The cabin is in a great location for traveling to and from town with vehicles.

Things to know ~

Overall the time spent on the property was nice. It's a cute little house. The house did have a few issues...We were unaware the owners lived next door and were there all weekend. Close proximity allowed them to use an internet extender from the parent house to the VRBO instead of the rental having its own connection. Since they had a few teenagers, we were constantly being knocked off the internet which ruined movie nights for the kiddos as they were winding down for the evening. They house was missing some basic cooking equipment (example - no toaster, etc) The instructions were to put the towels in washer before you leave. However, there was a very large rat living in the laundry area - which will happen at the lake - proceed with caution. The view was very nice.

Quick Summer Stay with Family

Enjoyed the property and scenery. Very nice and quiet area! Only other thing that you would need is a boat or watercraft rental to get out on the lake.. We will come back!

Awesome Lake Front House

Absolutely Amazing. We loved it. The lake veiw from inside and out is perfect. Nice location right accross from Fountainhead Marina. Theres a store, restaurant/bar and dockside gas. The deck or should i say decks are huge and awesome even have a couple big trees that provide afternoon shade. The house had plenty of room with plenty of ammenties and great lakeside decor. The beds were comfy, great AC, lots of big windows, kitchen very roomy too. Only one drawback is one bathroom but we managed just fine. The covered dock accomodated our 23Ft boat great even had plenty of boat bumpers. And there are 2 boat ramps very close by which was nice. The hosts were great and very helpful too. We will definitely be going back.

Very relaxing, great view

The outside area with views are very relaxing. The only drawback was the one bathroom and the fact it can sleep up to 8 but there are not enough dishes for even 1 meal nor any small plates or enough glasses. Lots of rugs that were not in good shape that posed a tripping hazard. Everything else was great, beds were comfortable, enough pillows, blankets and towels.
