Great house, windsurfing!

The house is great, windsurfing is super. Bring weed fins, especially in fall. For foiling - we windfoiled with 61cm mast, but you have to bear to the left to get over shallow spots. NB!!!: make sure you ask for linens/towels before going, these were optional (strange!) when we came and realized it at 11PM, but manager brought us these in 20 minutes after we called. Owners: please match lids with pots in the kitchen, only one pot there had a matching lid. And add an electric tea kettle!

We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay, and appreciate your notes about which equipment to bring to ensure future guests have an exceptional experience! For Island Attitude, we do offer full linens including sheets (with beds made), bath towels, hand towels and wash clothes but the date this service starts is usually at the end of May. This year the process started on May 20th. Unfortunately your stay pre-dated this process so you were given the option to either rent them or bring your own. Decent house with 2 AC units. Bottom floor was cool, top floor was 78 when we arrived. Realtor co responded quickly & brought 2 window units that did well until the end of our trip when top floor temp reached 79 (w/blinds closed, 2 window units & 2 strong fans on all day). House was dated, could use a refresh in the bathrooms but overall was a typical rental house. Sound views were great, little neighborhood was nice w/decent community pool (not busy & no lifeguard), w/a small sandy beach area that was good for the littles. Foodlion down the street. No need to pack foodBring spray, when the wind wasn’t blowing, the mosquitoes were very hungry. Kitchen was good with pots & pans, lots of dishes, low country boil pots & small bowls for melted butter. Recommend bringing a griddle and all your seasonings including salt & pep.Outside grill looked clean, propane in the tank but we didn’t use the grill. It’s on the bottom floor deck (kitchen on the top floor) Hot tub was clean & relaxing. Washer & dryer worked good. Tons of games & puzzles. Lots of kite boarding, jet ski, kayaking across the cul de sac. Beds, pillows, & bedding were fine but don’t forget beach towels. Highly recommend the local bike rentals that were discounted with home rental. They will email you several times. It was well worth it! They deliver to your driveway and pick up!
