We had a great stay. The kids loved the loft. The place is spacious for our large family group and our dog. The location was great too and the host was very responsive and gave us very helpful tips. We would definitely stay again.

This place is what you look for in a family style rental. There is a lot of personality in this place and works well for a family setting. The owner was very flexible and hospitable. We would love to stay here again.

Very very kind review MV & exactly the setting we have tried to create. 50 years of memories in the condo along with almost 100 years of my grandfathers artwork hopefully makes for a fun & comfortable family setting:-)

Awesome KB! So stoked the family had a great time and my grandfather & dad would be smiling if they could read your review:-) My grandfather's art, cartoons & sculptures are displayed throughout the condo. He was also credited with the original artwork for Tom & Jerry as well as Howdy Doody. He also designed what is now The Mammoth Mountain Inn. You can find that piece underneath the TV in the living room. And my dad played for the original Angels in 1961 and played on the USC college World Series winning team under Rod Dedeaux and there are several photos sprinkled throughout condo.

Great home base central location for our 5 person group exploring mammoth all week. Had everything we needed. Pool and hot tub access was easy, not crowded and great. One small issue when we first checked in was rectified immediately with great communication by the owners. Would totally stay again.

Thank you for the kind review JG. In full disclosure, the cleaning crew had the wrong day calendared (might have been my error as well) so JG and his crew showed up to a messy condo. The cleaning crew came over there immediately when he notified me and cleaned. I sent money back to JG as well as paid for their dinner at Dos Alas (my favorite restaurant by far in Mammoth and Cristi the owner lives in the complex too and is a sweet heart.) You guys are welcome back any time!

Our host, Rob, was outstanding. He welcomed us by text and offered suggestions for our time in Mammoth. Communication was easy. The artwork everywhere in the condo made us want to meet him and know his story.

Nice quirky property with lots of character. Quiet area and lots of space for our family. Helpful host. On a very hot night air conditioning would have been nice, but we knew in advance it wasn’t installed.

Thank you LW and completely fair review. I am bringing up a portable AC unit next week to try it out. This seems to be the hottest summer we have had in years. The giant fan as well as all of the portable fans next to open windows and the slider typically provides enough of a breeze but I am looking forward to trying out the portable AC unit too. Rob Ardell is an outstanding owner and showed that he genuinely cares about his guests. This is the advantage of renting from the owner rather than a rental company.We stayed nine days and found the condo stocked with what we needed. The location is in the heart of Mammoth Lakes and is walking distance to shopping and food. The condo is located in a complex where each building has four units and there is sufficient space to park. The grounds are well-maintained and there is plenty of open space.We would definitely stay at this condo again when our travels take us to Mammoth Lakes.

Robert is an excellent host! We had a minor issue at check-in and Robert responded immediately. He went above and beyond to take care of everything we needed and ensure we would enjoy our stay. He also kept in touch throughout our visit, providing restaurant recommendations and sightseeing tips. He is the kind of host every traveler hopes they'll have when renting a vacation home.The townhouse is clean, quiet, spacious, and in a peaceful location, It is also well-stocked with games and items for indoor activities. In addition, the walls are covered with interesting artwork and documents about his grandfather's history as an illustrator and toy designer. We HIGHLY recommend this property and Robert as a host. Thank you for everything, Robert! We look forward to our next stay here.
