From the moment we pulled up, this house was just what we were looking for, and more. The host provided everything we needed, even before we knew we might need it. It’s nestled in a beautiful wooded setting, with well maintained grounds. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. I will definitely be renting from this host again!

Enjoyed staying here for our son's graduation from Gettysburg. The home was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The property was beautiful-large yard and great fire pit area. Lots of privacy. Would definitely recommend to others wanting to stay in Gettysburg and would rent this property again.

This comfy home was great for us. There is lots of room to spread out. Jeff and Patty have lots of fun things in the home to explore: games, movies, tv, books and art. There were clear instructions for the remotes, AC etc. The kitchen had everything we needed. Also some spices, oil, vinegar etc. The property is private and we'll maintained. Sit on the deck and watch the squirrels and birds. We would come here again!

Private yard

We enjoyed the home and private area of it, the yard is wonderful, very close to stores in town still. The owners provided everything we could’ve needed, very comfortable stay.

Wonderful time

The property was exactly as listed with many amenities. My family really enjoyed the outside firepit and bbq area. Each room was uniquely decorated, well furnished and comfortable. Planning to come again.

The house was very clean. The kitchen is great and very well stalked with items needed to cook with and dishes. We loved the outdoor firepit for campfires and the charcoal grills were great. 3 bathrooms for a larger group was wonderful! The close location to Gettysburg and all it's parks/museums and downtown stores was perfect! I would highly recommend this house to rent!

Jeff and Patty were excellent hosts. We had everything that we needed with extras just in case. Loved the back deck, it was where we spent most of our time at the house. The battlefields are really close an the museum was so impressive.

Our second home!

We have loved staying here for years and when we walk in we always feel like we are coming home! Everything is always perfect and comfortable! Close to town and everything you need!

Fantastic house and property. Unfortunately, it was too nice outside all weekend, so we didn’t really get to enjoy the inside of the house, but that’s a good thing. We plan on renting the house again next year.

Annual Civil War battlefield trip

Great property! Everything inside and out was just what we had hope. We really enjoyed the fire pit. Would recommend if you stay near Gettysburg to check this out first.

60th Birthday Celebration

Location was perfect. 3 miles outside of Gettysburg town limits. Easy access to town center and restaurants and battlefield tours and museum. Spacious home, privacy and perfect landing spot each evening.

Gettysburg House Review

We had a marvelous stay. The house was perfect for us...a group of ladies who are related (aunts & cousins). Very spacious, clean, well equipped (especially the kitchen), and well stocked with supplies. The owners appeared to have gone through great lengths to provide excellent accommodations. Would definitely stay again.

Just like home

Feels secluded yet it’s a short drive to everything you need and want. Kudos to Jeff for making you feel like a treasured guest. The house is spacious , clean and well provisioned.You made us feel at home which is very rare in a rental.
