My husband and I stayed with friends at Tyto Alba and really enjoyed our stay. We loved the peaceful setting, the very well-equipped kitchen, the comfortable living room and bedrooms. And to top it off, so close to town and to point Reyes hiking trails. All in all, an excellent place. We will be back!

Great place tucked away in nature

My partner, our dog and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this beautiful house. It was really comfortable and the view from the deck is gorgeous. Close to town and also feels remote. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful home. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. Spotlessly clean. So glad they welcome pets. Our Great Pyrennes loved the property. Close enough to walk to town. Easy drive to Point Reyes National Seashore beaches and hiking trails. Deer in the yard every day. Birds galore. The view from the back of the home is gorgeous. Highly recommend.

Great location in Pt Reyes Station

This is a wonderful house! Easy walk to town, and great spot for adventures in Pt Reyes, creameries, wineries, and more. Very peaceful spot with views over the wetlands preserve. Don’t miss a tasting at the nearby meadery, and the fresh oysters just up the highway.

Secluded house, placid town

Tall grass, deer everywhere, bugs don’t get in at night. Lots of windows, natural light, scenic views. Easy walk into town, down to the grocery store.

Wonderful Getaway

House is wonderful and listing is very accurate. Location was the best of both worlds---quiet and surrounded by mature but a 10 minute walk to town. Spent a lot of time on the back patio enjoying the wildlife in the wetlands and foggy mornings. Very easy to get to all the great food and attractions in the area.

Fantastic house with beautiful views

This was our first time to Pt. Reyes and it did not disappoint. The house is in a beautiful setting - the backyard views are gorgeous and there’s a table/chairs and deck chairs so you can fully enjoy it. The house was very clean with a great kitchen and good size bedrooms. Walking distance to town and short drives to many great hikes, towns and beaches. We’ll be back!

Weekend Getaway

House was great! Easy walk into the cute town. Unfortunately the power went out for 12 hours but the host communication was great! Maybe add a few working flashlights and candles for such incidents. Also, a few throw blankets would help!

The kitchen was lovely and well equipped. The dishwasher was a problem. We could not make it start, then when we were advised how to get it started, and heard the water running, when we unloaded it food was baked on.The living room rug was dirty with spots that a spray bottle of Folex would easily remove.Free standing towell racks in both downstairs bedrooms would be helpful, since the shared bathroom is small.Flies. Need a eco-friendly way to manage

Great to be close to town. The home was in need of repair. Down stairs shower leaked water onto floor and bathroom should be repaired. Gutters failing and water damaging the decks. HVAC system not able to control temperature in home. Note book with local information outdated. It was nice to be close to town however home very much neglected and very disappointing for the

Beautiful, well equipped home, with a view and walking distance to Point Reyes Station. Very nice porch outside to listen to the Dawn Chorus of the birds. We rented it to celebrate a birthday and a gathering of siblings. Spacious, comfortable. I will definitely rent it again when family comes to visit. Thank you!!

A really comfortable home in a beautiful location. The house was clean and well cared for and the deck overlooking the marsh is simply beautiful. We loved that it was close enough to walk into town. The management company has fantastic speed in replying to queries and the host’s notes on what to enjoy in this wonderful little town were above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you
