Once again an amazing stay!! 4th year in a row and couldn’t be more pleased with our stay! Mary is always great to communicate with and very accommodating! Beautiful Lakehouse and amazing views!!

Everything about this home was perfect. The check in, the cleanliness, the amenities, the view.. perfect. Very open and spacious inside with everything we needed, and without all the extra tchotchkes.. (no clutter). Yes, lots of stairs down to the water… But we made it just fine even with 4 little ones in tow. Lifejackets are a necessity for being on the dock. You might want to bring a bag of ice, but literally that's the only thing I can think of. We will definitely stay again !!!

Beautiful house with an incredible view of the lake. Rooms were spacious. Bathrooms well stocked with tons of towels. Everything was perfect for our extended family with 4 adults and 4 kids. A little complaining from the kids (and some adults) about the 114 steps down to the dock, but it made it an adventure. A little rickety, so care would need to be taken by many. My 80 year old mother did not feel comfortable going down them. Other than that, the dock was perfect. The water warm for swimming. Great fishing right from the dock, my son caught tons of bluegill, a striped bass, a catfish, and a few others! We hope to return again!

Another Amazing Stay!

This is my 2nd time staying here and everything was just as perfect as the first stay! Mary is amazing! Property is beautiful with amazing views all around! This property has everything you can ask for and more! My favorite place to stay by far! Hope to be back next year!

Another Great Stay!!

We had another amazing stay in Big Sandy 3 years running! Mary is always spectacular to communicate with and always very accommodating! Everything from the views, the comfort, the space, and so much more make this the perfect home away from home! You will not be disappointed for choosing this amazing spot for your getaway!! Can't wait to go back!!!

Great Lakehouse

Great stay, the home was just as described and Mary was a fantastic host. She gave some great advice on the area which was new to us and also was very helpful answering questions about the lake. The kitchen was stocked great which made cooking very easy and plenty of space for all the guests to relax in the evening after a long day on the lake. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful home

This house is newly and beautifully decorated and everything was super clean and comfortable. Lots of open space and plenty of places to sit. The glassed in porch on the back has great view of lake. The neighborhood is very quiet. Wonderful place to get away. We were here with a ladies retreat.

Lakehouse vacation

I stayed with all adults at this proprty. Everything was clean and each amenity worked properly. There was plenty of cookware to cook for a group of 8. The dock and patio desking was well maintained. The lights for the stairs made it safe for visiting the dock at night.

A Gem

This property is exactly how it looks on photos. Very clean, great views and everything you need for a comfortable experience. Plenty of dishes and cookware to cook your own meals. If you plan to utilize the deck and lake for swimming, etc, bring your own beach towels and life jackets.

Quiet lakehome on picturesque sunset location. The home was spotless and well equipped. Beds were not more than 5 years old and gently used. Had beds for 12 but with couches could do 4 more and plenty space for others with air mattresses or similar. Laundry is modern and easy to access inside. There are LOTS of steps down to (and back up from) the lake. But there are plenty to landings to stop and catch your breath. The dock is in good repair and was easy to tie our rental boat to. Parking is excellent, and having a free Tesla charger onsite is a real plus for many. FYI This is home is at the far south end of Kentucky Lake about 35-40 minutes (w little to no headwind) by pontoon to Ned R McWherter bridge. There was very little boat traffic in our area all weeeknd, there was more action up by the bridge.We enjoy our Labor Day weekend and are planning for a longer stay next chance we get!

The house was beautiful, well organized and well stocked. We enjoyed sitting out on the comfy patio furniture on the deck and watching the sunset over Kentucky lake from the large windows. The beds were comfortable and the and couches and chairs were more than adequate for all the family members that was coming and going during a busy wedding weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying four nights at the lake house. There was lots of space for the entire family and things were very convenient and well stocked. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and catching a lot of bluegill a few striped bass and perch. Even caught one bass in the process all on live worms and smaller hooks we got from Camden WAL-MART. We look forward to future stays. Mary is a great host and very responsive to all communications. We highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for peaceful and relaxing time with great views. You can even get your daily steps in by trips to and from the dock. We will stay here again in the future.

Vacation Perfection

Wanted a fun getaway for the family! We got that and more! This place was perfection in all aspects! Mary was an amazing host with outstanding communication and hospitality! The views are simply amazing from every part of this house. From the top patio to the sun room with floor to ceiling windows that you will not be disappointed by! Had so much fun all around this house, from the private dock with fishing and kayak to conversations on the top patio! So glad I came across this beautiful rental! Thank you so much Mary! Truly an amazing experience!

Labor Day weekend af KY Lake

I have been to many VRBO stays in many locations. This house has every possible thing you could Want or need in the house. Very well appointed and carefully thought out. The rooms are all nice sized and comfortable. Lots of room in the basement. The view is gorgeous and perfect. The stairs are a definite challenge and not something I want to do more than a couple times a day although my 22 yo ran them ten times for his workout. We went to the TN wildlife reserve for a hike and it was beautiful and saw a lot of wildlife. The only thing we did say wrong is not understand how ginormous the lake is and where the marina is in relation to the house when we rented a boat. It was quite a hike and I know there are several closer marinas to rent from. We swam right off the dock and that was a lot of fun too. Mary the owner was very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend the house for a nice lake getaway from it all.

Wonderful and Private!

First off, Mary is incredible! Such a great host with exceptional communication. The house is beautiful and sits with a view of the lake that made us not want to leave. We had 10 people - 4 adults and 6 children between 1 and 15 years old and had ample room. Very clean and endless resources to ensure our stay was well taken care of. The dock was our favorite part. There's just enough space between land and dock for us adults to stand and have fun and deep enough on the other side for kids to jump off and swim. The deck at night was great to relax on as well. We normally rent a house near the ocean so this was our first lake trip and it didn't disappoint. We wanted peace and the seclusion was perfect for us. Other than boats, we saw people on docks 1 day. This is not a negative but FYI to those that come.. We came down prepared with all of our food. There is a small town you'll pass through that has some to offer for essential items but don't plan on eating out every night unless you want to drive 25-30+ mins. Grill and kitchen were perfect for each meal! Overall, we had a blast. If you're looking for a beautiful home on the lake to get away, this is your place. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house!

The house was beautiful and well maintained. Very clean and organized. The walk down and up to the lake was pretty lengthy and deck/boardwalk needs some securing and work. I believe they are currently working on this. Not much to do in the surrounding area, so recommend having a boat if you stay here! Host was great and quick to respond. Thanks for the hospitality.
