We celebrated our friend’s birthday at the little grey cottage. The location was great, walking distance to the Douglas Beach with beautiful sunsets. The house was nicely decorated, clean and functional. We enjoyed our breakfasts at the screened back porch and upstairs TV room was perfect for all of us to hang out at night. I highly recommend this house for large families or groups.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for us. The kitchen was amazing and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was lovely and it was easy to get to so many places.

We had the most amazing time at the Little Grey Cottage! The location was so close to the action but also felt secluded. The house was just as we expected and perfect for our group. I would stay here again!

Six girl friends travelled from various places to stay in this lovely home. Had everything we needed, especially proximitry to a winery!

Nice house, great location

The house is very nice, located in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance from the beach. Everything was clean, comfortable, and pleasant. Overall, we had a good time.

Girls Getaway!

Six of us traveled to the Little Gray Cottage and had a marvelous time! Plenty of space and amenities to aid in our time together. Walking distance to beach and coffee!! Close to town and Saugatuck! Great for families too!

We had a great time

We really did have a great time. The home is very adequate. And mostly as described. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the screened in porch, the grilling area, and the trash cans.

Annual Girls Trip

Spent 4 nights at the Little Grey Cottage. Clean, spacious, with most everything we needed. Comfortable beds, quiet location with great accessibility to Saugatuck and the surrounding areas.Only downside - no streaming services for evening relaxing. Roku on site, but nothing set up for guest access. One service - Hulu, Netflix, something, would be very nice.

We enjoyed our stay at this property due to its wonderful location (5 min walk to Douglas Beach) and a very short drive into Saugatuck. The house is a nice layout and is a good option for a group of people with multiple bathrooms on each floor. We felt the house could benefit from a deep cleaning. It was very dusty (especially around the beds), the kitchen had some leftover food particles from previous guests that accumulated ants, and the back porch was too dirty to use. I would like to acknowledge that I did not reach out to the management company about this during our stay as we did not want to be interrupted during our time, however, I am sure they would have responded to this. I was just surprised as this was a review I had read about the house prior to booking and the management company commented on the post that they would have the porch area cleaned for future guests. The house also lacked adequate towels (no beach towels), cleaning supplies, and paper goods compared to other VRBOs we have rented. If the house was thoroughly cleaned, I would definitely recommend this house.

Nice Stay at the Little Grey Cottage!

We rented the Little Grey Cottage for a family girls weekend. It slept the six of us pretty comfortably. Pros: Loved having four full bathrooms between six ladies. Quick 10 minute walk to Douglas beach. Loved the open floor plan and community kitchen - made great memories laughing and eating together. Provided lots of cleaning supplies and paper towel (sometimes VRBO's are skimpy on supplies). Fully stocked kitchen was wonderful to cook in! The management team was always quick to respond to questions and check-in/out was super easy. Cons - The outside is a little shabby and needs some love, first impression wasn't great, but inside was beautiful and clean! The living room furniture is very well worn and not that comfortable. Two of us had to sleep in the lower bunks...probably fine for kids under 100 lbs, but not comfortable for adults. The mattress pads are pretty thin. There were also four broken chairs in the dining room. Not a big deal, there were plenty others to use. None of the cons were deal breakers, just general feedback for the property owners! Overall, a nice stay and would recommend.
