Our stay was wonderful! We had a couple hiccups, but Judy was responsive and took care of them right away! She went above and beyond what we expected! The house is a great size and the pool is amazing! We saw deer and fox out the back windows and enjoyed sitting on the patio. The location is quiet and peaceful, but close to bigger areas if you want to explore.

The home was very clean and photos reflected what was in the home. We enjoyed the indoor pool and there were clean guest towels in the pool area. The theater room in the basement was awesome. Beds were comfortable. The park is within walking distance. Home had alot of activities for our grandchildren. I would suggest cleaning up the landscaping by the front door to make the entrance more appealing. Overall a great home for our family gathering.

Amazing, we had to leave early due to the weather storm advisory! I loved this place soooo much ! I hope to rent in the future! Also the community was very friendly…this was a luxurious home away from home.

I rented this home to take my mother and 8 of my nieces and nephews, ages newborn to 18. They loved the place. The bed set up was even better than advertised as the master had a double and two twins. The kids spent most of their time in the pool and theater room. They walked down the hill a few times and enjoyed the playground, volleyball, basketball and creek at the park. If you like fishing there were people catching cat fish. Every morning and evening we saw a baby deer out back. We had fun with the video game which has a lot of the old games I grew up with, frogger, pac man, etc. My only complaint was the frying pans were burnt up and I was unable to use them for cooking. The owner said she would order new ones. The place was stocked well with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, trash bags, etc. The beds were clean and comfortable.

We had a great stay! The house is much more spacious than the photos show—perfect for our group. The indoor pool and basement theater were highlights, and the outdoor space was great for relaxing. Everything was clean, and the kitchen had a good stove and fridge, though the pots and pans were quite worn and could use replacing. There’s a nice park within walking distance, but not much else nearby, so it’s ideal for staying in and enjoying the home. Overall, a comfortable, well-equipped place for a peaceful retreat!

Winter Getaway

Great place to spend with friends and family. 3 small families spent a weekend together at "Licking Creek" and couldn't be happier with our pick. The kids really enjoyed the wonderful pool, game room, and theater. The parents enjoyed being able to have adult time while the kids were happily occupied.

Beautiful home in peaceful surroundings

This property lives up to its name “Licking Creek Retreat”. We enjoyed the beautiful home, relaxing in the spacious living area and kitchen, and made use of all of the amenities including the heated pool, game room, and theatre room. The surrounding hills and the brook below contributed to peaceful vacation vibes. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends.
