Great house!

This house is a perfect summer rental! It has everything you need for a beach vacation. The location is great, walking distance to the beach and the downtown and just a quick drive to much more. We can’t wait to go back!

Great location

Immaculate is definitely not the word I would use. Couch was badly stained, floors were filthy and pillows and comforters were stained. The house was large and great for a family. The beach was a 2 minute walk.

Do not book through a 2nd party!!

Property manager cancelled at 11am the day we were leaving for vacation. Horrible VRBO experience, they told us to drive to maine from vt and they would put us up in a hotel.

Good location, decent house

The location was great. Right in town - walkable to short sands beach, wild kingdom, shops and restaurants. We had enough room to spread out and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with things you need to cook a simple meal. The bathrooms were nicely renovated and clean. The outdoor shower was very nice and quite useful after a day at the beach. However, the property was a bit lacking in other areas. There was a terrible stench coming from the downstairs closet, the supplies were low (had to buy our own toilet paper and paper towels), there was mold in the washing machine and there were some pretty serious dust bunnies behind the furniture. The beds were not at all comfortable and the AC units in the rooms were ineffectual. Beware that the stairs are not to code. They’re quite steep, narrow and not deep enough to fit an adult foot, requiring you walk sideways. It was stressful to go up and down with small kids and baby. Also beware there are no curtains or shades on any of the downstairs windows. So keep your exhibitionist pants on! Overall, we did enjoy our stay, but wouldn’t choose this property again.
