Sunset Kahili is a 5th floor vacation rental property located in the beautiful Poipu Beach area of Kauai, Hawaii. The property was specifically designed to capture the breathtaking sunsets over the ocean, providing guests with a truly unforgettable experience.

The condo is located in close proximity to some of the most popular beaches in the area, including Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach. These beaches are known for their pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters, making them the perfect place for swimming, snorkeling, and surfing.

The condo itself is tastefully decorated and well-appointed, with all the amenities guests need to feel right at home. The property features a spacious living area, a portable a/c in the bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a private lanai with stunning ocean views. Guests can also take advantage of the on-site swimming pool, barbecue area, and other recreational facilities. The living room sliders open to the fragrant ocean breezes while enjoying paradise.

Of course, the highlight of the property is the breathtaking sunset views over the ocean that can be enjoyed from the comfort of the private lanai. There's no better way to end a day in paradise than with a glass of wine and the vibrant colors of the sky as the sun dips below the horizon.

If you're looking to cool off, there is an a/c in the unit, and an on-site swimming pool is the perfect spot to relax and soak up some sun. For those who prefer to stay active, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the area with snorkeling and surfing equipment available for rent nearby.

*Rate from $275/Night + 18.46% state GE/TAT/County Tax, $200 Outclean, $80 Protection Damage Coverage, and $250 Refundable Security Deposit. Rates are based on Season and subject to change until reservation is confirmed. Reservations include Poipu Beach Athletic Club membership at $25/Night.

Great whale watching spot

The views were amazing from our balcony. We saw many whales and sea turtles from our unit.Comfortable bed and furniture! Highly recommend this unit!

Great Location Clean

This space was quite clean. The condo was centrally located allowing us to have some wonderful day excursions. Property manager was quick to respond to our calls/texts. Beautiful time and location

Quiet Comfort to Enjoy Warm Lanai Mornings, Sounds of Surf, Sunsets…

Best for a couple…or a couple of best friends who easily navigate a single bathroom (2 doors); a comfortable hide-away sofa/bed with two fans; and sliding panels to separate bedroom area which has an air-conditioning unit. We did have a rental car, as we were exploring the island this trip, and really appreciated it, as there are no neighborhood grocery stores and limited dining options in walking distance. Great beach chairs and well-stocked beach towels appreciated!

Amazing views and great location!

My husband and I stayed at this property last week, and it was perfect for us! The sunset view from the balcony is amazing! It’s a quick walk down to the beach where the sea turtles came up onto the beach every evening. We explored the entire island, and this was a great location for our home base. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and having a washer and dryer was very helpful. The pool was clean and perfect when we needed to break from the beach. It was a very quiet complex, we did not hear any noises from neighbors. The living room furniture seemed brand new and looks very nice in the room. The bed was really comfortable as well. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Kauai in the future!

Billed as advertised

Clean, accommodating, cozy, captivating view. Kitchen was well supplied for cooking just about anything. Lanai as a tad overcrowded other outdoor furniture, took some rearranging for comfort, but not a big deal. Wonderful stay oils use again!

Great place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation rental was in a great location! The rental is not as portrayed in the pictures. The furniture is worn and dated. The orange chairs felt sticky and and had a slight distasteful odor. The cushions on the lanai were falling apart. All of the windows and louvers were moldy and dirty.The kitchen was clean and well stocked but the dishwasher smelled old. The refrigerator was clean. Overall for the price, I would rate it a three.

Great View and Location

Prop mgr, location and clean unit were great. We rated it 3 as the condo is tired. It’s in need of new furniture and updating. Couch, chairs and bed were not comfortable. The location, views and overall complex site were awesome. We would stay in the building again, but not this particular unit.

Perfect Week-end at Poipu.

This property, our stay & the island of Kauai met & exceeded our expectation. The view & the sound of the waves were so relaxing. Sunsets beautiful. The location was steps from the beach, a lovely park & snacks. The condo itself included everything possible to imagine. All in all a perfect week/end. Only regret is we didn’t plan a longer stay. Next time.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very good stay. The building is not new, but was well kept up. Had all of the amenities that we needed. It was very warm when we were there, and AC would have been nice, but not essential. When we go back to Kauai in the next year or so, I would stay in the same Condo if it were available. Really liked the 5th floor, and for our purposes, it was well located.

Poipu Condo

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was great that there were beach chairs, an umbrella and a small cooler to use. An automatic ice maker and water dispenser in the fridge was great to have, along with a washer and dryer. When our key didn't work in the lock and we couldn't get in the unit, the response from the management company was very fast. The location was great. The elevator was always fast. Down sides: The unit could have been cleaner, the furniture was old and worn out and not very comfortable. There was no ceiling fan in the living room and the fan that was on the floor sometimes didn't work right. The standing fan in the bedroom was very dirty and rusty and often would only go on low speed. It really needs to be thrown away and replaced. The unit was very hot; we couldn't really feel much of an ocean breeze and fans that didn't work properly made it worse. It was even more hot when using the dryer because it appears to not be vented correctly--heat and lint from the dryer went into the bathroom.

Our unit included just about everything we could need. My only negative was the pull out bed (couch). Not comfortable at all! Other than that we had a wonderful time and hope to go back again soon!

Good location, nice view, and well maintained unit

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is great. The Moipu beach is within 5 minute walk. The view from the balcony is excellent. We also found the unit is clean, well-maintained and functional. Overall very positive experience.

Beach vibe

This place is on the older side and has no AC. Just open all the windows and run the fan's At night and it surprisingly comfortable. Easy walks to Brenneck’s and Poipu beaches to see the turtles. We were gone early and came back late and this place was great!

A Perfect Vacation Spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely in every way. I only wish our grandchildren (ages 9 and 11, and under supervision) could have been allowed the use the pool. They were ejected when their mother ran to put something in the garbage can. They are well-behaved but probably making noise, at 10:00am.

Beautiful view

The property had a beautiful view. We were able to hear the sound of the ocean at night. It was the perfect size for two. We enjoyed our visit to both the island and having a nice place to stay.
