One-Bedroom Condo with A/C and Fantastic Ocean Views

Our Prince Kuhio 206 condominium is a charming one-bedroom unit that has been recently updated. This vacation retreat features slab granite counters, new kitchen and bath tile, new carpet, new appliances and cookware, and a generous king bed. It is close to everything and a great place to come home to after a day of sight-seeing.

Spend your mornings watching the sunrise on the ocean-view lanai. Take a stroll down the lane to the Shops at Kukuiula , or walk across the street to one of the top snorkeling beaches on Kauai. There is a popular surf-break just off the point where you can try your hand at surfing, or just watch the local talent as they ride the waves.

Enjoy relaxing by the newly renovated pool, surrounded by lush, tropical gardens and a beautiful lava rock waterfall. Have a sunset cocktail or dinner at the famed Beach House restaurant, just across the street. If you prefer to cook yourself, the kitchen is fully equipped and there is a wonderful barbeque area onsite. The Prince Kuhio even has a lovely koi pond in the gardens.

At the end of the day, climb into the comfortable king size bed outfitted with plush Tommy Bahama bedding. Doze off listening to the rustling of the palm trees and the breaking ocean waves.

Very cool place i have stayed in 6 different places there. The screen door will come off as soon as you touch it. Otherwise it's fine have fun

Kauai is my favorite island! This was my first stay at Prince Kuhio and it won't be my last. PK 206 was just what I needed for the week! It is a very cozy condo with lovely trade winds blowing through. The bed was amazing and comfy! Best night of sleep in a long time. The AC provided the needed cooling off for those of us from the PNW not used to the high humidity. The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. Thank you for sharing your space with others!!The gardens are absolutely beautiful!! I loved walking through them every day. The pool was also really lovely. I was worried it would be cold because it is not heated, but the water was perfect after a long day of exploring. I used the great bbq a couple of times. Located right next to one of the best snorkel spots on the island and within walking distance to shops and restaraunts. PK 206 can't be beat for it's affordability and location.

Location location location. I love this complex and stay here a few times a year. This condo was perfect for me as a solo traveler and would be perfect for couples, best friends or siblings.

I would highly recommend this place! Fantastic location, host, and very comfy bed! The unit was very clean and you can see and hear the ocean, just across the road. We didn't cook there, but the kitchen was stocked well and there is a BBQ available. The pool was nice and had areas of shade, which was appreciated. There is a great breakfast place a few minutes drive-Anuenue Cafe-amazing french toast with lemon curd! Stay here, you won't be sorry!

Great Location!

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was across the street from Lawai Beach and close to shops and restaurants. The unit itself was well stocked with necessities for cooking, as well as beach supplies. We would definitely stay here again!

We didn't interact with the host except through VRBO site for acceptance.In all fairness, we came down from a large house in Princeville where we shared the space with 10 people. Everything was beautifully appointed. So it was a shock to come to a very small space with a tiny lanai (but a beautiful view of the ocean, no dishwasher, etc.

We are so disappointed by this review. We work very hard to keep our unit clean and well-appointed. We feel that we provide an affordable option for guests who want to come and enjoy this beautiful island. I would encourage travelers to check out the other reviews and see what other guests have said about our lovely unit. Of course, it doesn’t compare to a mansion in Princeville, but I Imagine that the price there was significantly higher. We have many return guests and always do our best to ensure a positive experience for travelers.

Best location in Poipu area

This is an excellent property, with a cannot-be-beat location in a quiet neighborhood. It is really right across the street from some of the best snorkeling on the south side of the island, and you can enjoy a morning walk in either direction. We were very happy staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at the cozy apartment. It was close to everything along the south shore and had everything that we needed. We would book it again when we go back to Kauai.

Nice property & great location

We enjoyed our stay in PK206. Check-in was a breeze, it had all kitchen amenities, was close to several beaches (including the one across the street), the building has beautiful landscaping and was surprisingly quiet. I highly recommend The Beach House restaurant across the road. The atmosphere & food were amazing. We will most definitely stay here on our next visit to Kauai.

Great time

We really enjoyed our time here. Condo had what we needed including beach towels, chairs, and equipment. Lanai is a little small, but we spent a lot of time there. Aloha!

We were married at Shipwreck Beach, just a few miles down the road from the Prince Kuhio Condominums on the sunny side of Kauai. We purchased a studio condo here in 2011 and we are so happy to make this 1-bedroom available to our guests as well.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We enjoyed visiting several of the Hawaiian Islands, but Kauai quickly became our favorite. After staying at a few different hotels/condos we knew the Prince Kuhio was the right place for us. We love the quiet, laid-back feel of the complex and the stunning beauty of the grounds.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We love the monk seals that laze around the beach across the street. We often snorkel there and enjoy the multitude of fish and turtles we get to share the water with. Each evening the there is a loose knit group wandering across the street to take in the sunset at Lawai Beach - it has become a ritual of sorts, with lots of friendly folks basking in the last rays of the day.
We enjoy exploring all the different sides of the island, but it is always great to come back to Prince Kuhio - our home away from home.
