There is parking directly in front of the house so you can drive your car right up to the front door with no stairs to climb. There is a coded deadbolt lock so you can self check-in.
We are available 24/7 if you need anything during your stay.
Please contact us through the booking site in which you booked for one of our team members to respond promptly.
Our office hours are 9am-5pm CT Monday -Friday.
For after office hours communication/emergencies, please call/text your host, Seth. If we do not answer immediately, leave me a voicemail or text me and we will get back with ASAP.
This house is located right off of Scenic Highway just a few miles away from downtown Mentone.
There are neighboring homes to the left and right; however, the home remains very private due to placement and tree coverage.
Most cars can travel around the mountain and area with ease.
There is no public transportation.

EARLY CHECK-IN & LATE CHECKOUT OPTIONS
We are at the mercy of the calendar! The only way to guarantee early check-in is by booking the night before. If you want to take a gamble, you can wait until 24 hours before check-in to see if our schedule allows for it. If a guest is checking out the day of your arrival or if we have scheduled maintenance, early check-in may not be possible.
Late checkout will depend on the number of hours requested and if there is another guest coming that afternoon.
Is there a GROCERY STORE nearby?
The closest grocery stores are located in Fort Payne, Alabama: Walmart, Food City, Bruce`s Foodland
Our small downtown, Mentone, has the Mentone Market which has eggs, milk, and delicious pizza and other grab-n-go items.

Can I book on behalf of a friend, family member or co-worker?
No. While we would love to host whoever you are booking for, we do need them to book for themselves with their own Airbnb account. You can potentially earn travel credit by referring someone to book their first reservation with Airbnb. Go to Account Settings and click on Invite Friends for more details.
ADDITIONAL FEES
- Damage Waiver: Covers ACCIDENTAL damages up to $300 per incident. The damage waiver does not cover negligence, intentional actions, infestations, or pet-related issues. NON-REFUNDABLE.

1. Cancellation Policy for Direct Booking Long-Term Reservations (30 days or more):
● For reservations of 30 days or longer, a separate cancellation policy applies:
● Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 30 days before the scheduled check-in date.
● A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
● No refund will be provided for cancellations made 13 days or fewer before the scheduled check-in date.
2. Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form that you are required to sign and return before your arrival
3. If you are local and / or under the age of 23 please notify us before making your reservation
4. We will charge a small, non-refundable damage waiver fee to cover any potential accidental property damage during your stay. This fee replaces the traditional security deposit.
5. We would like to inform you that for direct bookings, a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform`s cancellation policy
6. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.
7. No parties or events allowed
8. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible
9. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed
10. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund
11. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 10:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them
12. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in)
13. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property
14. The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be deducted from your security deposit
15. No pets allowed.
16. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos
17. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera
18. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. Any items left behind will incur a $50 Mailing fee (separate from the cost of postage). We will do our best to send your items back to you within a week.
19. Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation, for any reason, will be considered no-shows. No-shows are non-refundable, and no credits, reschedules, or exceptions will be provided under any circumstances.
20. If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs
21. If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation.
