Peaceful family cabin minutes from Main St. Wasilla. Perfect place to base your Alaskan adventure. True cabin style living with two queen beds in the loft and the most supportive pullout sofa bed you've ever slept on sofa bed on the main floor. Close to Wasilla Airport, Menard Sports Center and Parks Hwy, perfect for all the tournaments and shows at the Menard. Great place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. We also have 4 other adjacent cabins on other listings for group stays. Shared firepits are available during the summer on a first come basis, firewood is not provided.

Great cabin in area where we wanted to fish. Wi-Fi (or lack thereof) was the only negative, as it never really worked.

Cozy cabin

This cabin was perfect for what we needed! Everything was clean and having a washer and dryer in the cabin was an added bonus. The fire pits beside the cabin are a nice touch. We did see moose on the property while we were there, right next to the front porch!

Great place to stay!

Very cute, cozy, clean cabin. We were in Wasilla for hockey, so great location beside Menard Center. Will definitely stay there again.

Amazing place

This is our second time staying here and love it, we split our trip between Anchorage/Wasilla next time we will hopefully just stay in Wasilla the whole time. Great location and clean and cozy away from the busy roads but a short drive from most everything

Cabin was spacious and well equipped, beds were comfortable. Would have preferred facilities - somewhere to eat etc. - in walking distance.

They thought of everything

The cabin was cozy and clean. the bed so comfortable. Whenever you travel you end up forgetting something but all was well because they thought of everything. We wanted for nothing. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful time, just what I needed

I booked two stays here for a total of 53 nights. I was in the area for some training, and found this to be the perfect place. I didn't want to have to eat out every meal, or have to go to a laundromat every few days. Yes, there are flaws, just like any other place, and you could read about some of them in other reviews. But the location, the convenience having a kitchen and laundry, and the wonderful hosts made this a wonderful place for me. If I ever need a place in the Mat-Su Valley area again, this will be the first place I look. And YES, saw MOOSE on two occasions on or near this property while I was here. The name of the place is appropriate!

This was a great place to stay. Beds were comfortable. It does get a bit warm up stairs, heat rises. I would recommend turning the heat down before you go to bed. As others noted the water heater is unnecessarily loud. It makes a lot of noise after running any amount of water.

Property was clean and looked as pictured. Had blackout curtains even on the high windows :). Host was quick to respond to messages (I had issues because I booked through Expedia and messaging was through VRBO and my reservations weren’t sinking between the two sites). Only potential draw back to this particular cabin, is it is closest to the road and there is road noise from people racing up the road and window facing road is permanently open with a window fan.

Great Cabin in Central Location

Our stay at the Wasilla Cabin was fantastic! Tucked away in the quiet woods of Alaska, it provided the perfect retreat while still being conveniently located just a 45-minute drive from Anchorage and accessibility to other towns. The cabin offered all the comforts of home and more. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploration. The shower had excellent water pressure, the kitchen was well-equipped, and WiFi was very reliable. Tina and Jimmy were communicative and were great about answering questions that came up quickly. On a clear night, which we were lucky to have throughout our stay, you might catch a glimpse of the northern lights. While not as clear as when staying further north, the cabin's secluded location outside of the main street of Wasilla, made it easier to spot the auroras. Overall, our experience at the Wasilla Cabin was nothing short of delightful. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, I highly recommend booking. We can't wait to return!

We had a wonder stay in this very clean and cozy cabin. Close enough to everything but far enough out to enjoy the quiet porch listening to the birds. We walked a bit, found some unique mushrooms. The beds and pillows are so incredibly comfortable. The Wi-Fi was hit and miss but we weren’t there to watch tv or use much technology. Sit on the porch and enjoy the views. Communication with owners was great. We would definitely recommend that you stay at Moose Landing.
