This is a beautiful and sunny second floor Cottage, just 1 1/2 blocks to the beach and boardwalk. IT INCLUDES ONE OFF-STREET PARKING SPOT, A RARITY IN DOWNTOWN REHOBOTH!

There is a queen bed in the bedroom with a queen bed in the great room opposite the sofas and sleeps up to 4 guests. We DO NOT provide linens. You must bring your own linens and towels. Linens for additional cost in Off Season.
The kitchen comes fully equipped so you can do your own cooking and serve your meals in the dining room. Netflix, ROKU TV & a DVD player/Smart TV is included. In addition to the bathroom shower, there is access to two enclosed outdoor showers ( Season Dependent). Complimentary Beach chairs INCLUDED (Season Dependent).

You can walk everywhere: the boardwalk, beach, attractions, amusements, and so many restaurants and shops. Jolly Trolley to get to Dewey Beach.

OFF-SEASON rates are FROM $195 per night with a two-night minimum

PEAK SEASON SUMMER rates Vary. Rentals between mid June and Labor day are 7 night stays from Saturday to Saturday

Great Location, pet friendly and blocks from downtown and the beach

The property was very clean and had good appliances. The space is quite small which was hard to judge from the photos. Would be very tight for four people especially on poor weather days. Only closet is tiny and rail is placed very high. Helen greeted us and told us about heating, lights, pilot light on stove, etc. which was very helpful.

Relaxing Trip

Myself, wife, 2 year old son, and pug all enjoyed our time! It was a very relaxing and quiet trip - especially since it didn’t seem like anyone else was staying nearby. The property was very clean and cozy. The location is great - we never used our car and just walked everywhere. Helen, who checked us in and out, was so nice and fun to talk to. We hope to be back again soon!

Great stay!!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here with our senior pup! The location couldn’t be more perfect as it’s 2 blocks away from the beach!!! Once we parked the car, we didn’t need to use it for the entirety of our trip. We are hoping to come back with a few friends next summer and are already planning our next trip! There may have been some mixup between Helen and Rebecca as Helen was awaiting our check in at 11am but per the notes we thought we weren’t allowed to arrive until 2pm. Regardless, easy communication, easy to find and Helen was so sweet and helpful!! Truly cannot wait for another trip to this lovely beach town!

Wonderful Property - Great Location

Upper Cottage is very small but well appointed and in pristine condition. New bathroom with heated floors. Beds are comfortable. Would be tight for 4 people unless it's little kids. Pet friendly, dogs loved it. Very comfortable space. Kitchen is well equipped. Everything is lovingly maintained. Helen & Becky are very friendly and welcoming. Hope to be back next year.

Short and sweet

We only spent two nights, but found the “Upper Cottage” an ideal alternative to the sterility of hotels. The location was a five minute walk from everything, yet was peaceful and quiet for this off-season stay. We particularly appreciated the newly remodeled shower/bathroom. The property manager was a delight to deal with by text, and in person. The apartment was truly spotless.

Perfect place for a relaxing time.

We had a wonderful time, in the upper cottage, at 47 Maryland Ave. All of the comforts of home, in a wonderful location, for walking to the beach, nice restaurants and plentiful shopping. The cottage is well equipped to enjoy cooking meals, so no need to always dine out, which will save you money. We would love to come back and enjoy this cottage again.!! Thanks for supplying the perfect atmosphere for an enjoyable week.

Great location, clean and comfortable

Family of four stayed in the upper cottage. Well stocked kitchen air conditioners worked great, which was appreciated because it was hot, Location is fantastic and the beds were comfortable. Very nice to have beach chairs accessible in the courtyard. Would stay again.

Cute Cottage & Close to Beach/Town!

We had a nice stay! The cottage was the perfect size for me, my husband, and our small dog. Helen met us to check in/out and is an absolute gem! Delightful person! Parking was not an issue - even with a bike rack and bikes on the back of our medium-sized SUV, we were able to park well within the space and back in and out with no problems. Location is perfect - central to Gordon's Pond, the beach/boardwalk, and the shops and restaurants on Rehoboth Ave. Note that there are quite a bit of "rules" signs throughout the cottage (necessitated from past stays, as Helen filled us in), but considerate renters will be fine 😊 The renovated bathroom is so nice - the shower feels luxurious! There's a little bit of shared outdoor space between the cottage and the main house, but we preferred hitting the beach/boardwalk or walking around Lake Gerar Park.

Perfect Location & Great Hosts

When I arrived, I discovered how perfectly the property was located to experience Rehoboth. The check-in person was friendly and knowledgeable and she made the process fun and easy. I met the hosts, who were friendly and fantastic. I plan to return later this summer and will stay here again if it is available.

Quiet cozy cottage

Cottage was quiet, cozy and very clean. The location is perfect, especially if you have a dog. Close to the beach and the boardwalk, close to Rehoboth Avenue and close to the park for dog walking. The new bathroom remodel is beautiful! Cottage is fully stocked with everything you might need. Helen is a delight for check-in and check-out. We will be back again!

Great place!

We enjoyed our weekend staying at the upper cottage. Check in/out was super easy. Helen is fantastic - welcoming and so nice. The cottage is comfortable and charming. Very close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. We walked everywhere the whole weekend. Highly recommend!

Perfect

The upper cottage was so perfect last year that we stayed here again. We have very high standards when it comes to cleanliness (especially for properties that allow pets) so the fact that this was our second stay should let you know this place is clean! Perfect location and although we were here in the off season, the importance of the parking spot for in-season stays should not be ignored. Everything is as advertised and the property manager Helen is the best!

Wonderful Stay in Rehobeth

The location of this upper cottage was perfect! It was an easy walk both to the beach and the town center. It was a cozy place for my husband and I that had everything that was needed and many extras for a delightful stay! The bed was really comfortable and everything in the kitchen was plentiful. great week

i had the cottage and yard all to myself with my dogs. use of beach chairs and a beach cart are a plus. shared ice maker is great. i had a great stay. helen realized i left something behind on our check out so i was very thankful. walkable to everything. cottage was comfy. we used the charcoal grill ( didn’t think the gas was working ) but bring some coals! i didn’t cook at all but appeared to be fully stocked kitchen. lovely time.

Quiet Beach Getaway

The Upper Cottage was whimsical and cute! We had just enough room for 3 adults and 2 pups. The neighborhood is super quiet and we felt at home with all the available amenities the cottage has to offer. We have been coming to Rehoboth for summer vacation and Sea Witch festivals for 30+ years and crazy enough this is the first time we rented a house. Sooooo much better than the hotel noise we normally have to deal with. The hosts were great communicators and the ladies who met us to check in and out were a delight. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Cozy and comfy, close to everything

Loved our stay in the upper cottage at the beach retreat. We loved that it was dog friendly and the beds, couches were super comfortable! There’s a nice outdoor space that is shared with the main house. We loved being able to walk to everything in the main part of town! It’s a second-floor apartment in a carriage house type cottage behind the main larger property. Everything was very clean and very well taken care of. There is one bedroom that is accessible through the bathroom, which was absolutely fine for our family, but might be a bit awkward for groups of friends (there are pocket doors). There’s not a lot of privacy because the other bed is in the main living area. It was terrific for us, and we would definitely return. Rehoboth is a magical place!
