It was a beautiful cabin. The fireplace outside was perfect for grilling during the chilly nights. We got a beautiful thunderstorm show while we enjoyed the hot tub. There were so many activities in the cabin making it easy to occupy my children. My son and husband love fishing so being so close to the water was perfect!

House had everything you would need and more! My family really enjoyed our stay at this house as it had something for everyone. We used the grill and hot tub almost every day. The beds were comfortable and the house felt clean. I would recommend to anybody considering staying in this area.

This house had everything we needed and more! Plenty of towels for the hot tub and showers and a very stocked kitchen. The place was very clean and well kept and there were many things to see in the area along with the beautiful views around the house. Irina was very helpful and answered my questions in a very timely manner. We would love to stay again!!!!

Beautiful mountain home

The house is beautiful, exactly as shown. We walked to the lake m on a private path. We went into Grand Lake several times and enjoyed the beach, restaurants, and shops. The hot tub was a big hit as was the ping-pong table, shuffleboard, and basketball game. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows if needed. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful outdoor deck. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home to anyone wanting to vacation in the area.

Comfy and cozy.

We enjoyed our stay. Beds were nice and cupboards and refrigerator had all the necessaries needed. Mayo, mustard, steak sauce, flour, coffee, filters, even flour. Nice surprise.

Great stay in Grand Lake!

We really enjoyed our family's first visit to Colorado. Grand Lake is a bit remote, so there wasn't much to do (especially with our 4-year old), but we didn't mind. We did a lot of relaxing, sledding, using the hot tub, and watching movies. The house was really nice and spacious!

Perfect place for our family 50th birthday celebration weekend

The configuration was perfect for us. We had 3 adult couples and 3 grandsons who loved the bunkbeds. The house was very well stocked - we had everything we needed. The hot tub and bowling game table were special additions. We loved the neighborhood.

Great family vacation spot!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was beautiful! It was as described, and very well appointed. It fit our needs for a family of 10 perfectly. Check in and checkout were very easy. Wonderful property and location

Stayed with close family of 9 including kids and everyone loved it. Location is perfect away from business or the town but close and easy drive, great proximity to less busy west entrance of RMNP with lots of great hikes all around. Property was very nice and clean. Hosts were highly communicative and thoughtful. Home has some nice extras including a large deck with grill, shade, brand new hot tub, and shuffle board table. We hope to be back!

We had an absolute blast, staying in Colorado at this house. Everything was perfect. The house was well appointed with all kitchen, necessities, and bathroom necessities. Colorado mountain

We have stayed many places but this is the cream of the crop ! We had 5 adults and 3 children. there Is a wonderful family room for the kids with plenty of games , more than you could ask for . The adults can enjoy a living and dining area with a beautiful fireplace. Both kids and adults enjoyed the hot tub ! I would recommend this 100 💯

Perfect spot for our family getaway

We had an outstanding experience! Irina was very responsive and helpful in planning. The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed. The new hot tub was a big bonus. And we loved watching and listening to the birds from the huge deck. Quick drive to the marina for boat rental and to Grand Lake for meals, beach and ice cream. Short distance to drive into RMNP too. And we loved walking over to Shadow Mtn Lake for an easy family hike and some splashing in the water. Highly recommend and would certainly stay again on future trips to the area.

Hi, I am Irina and we are a family of 4. Although not native to Colorado, we lived here since 2008. We absolutely love this beautiful state and enjoy everything Colorado has to offer! We camp and hike in the summer and ski in the winter.
Grand Lake is our favorite place in Colorado. We love it so much for its proximity to water, Rocky Mountain National Park, great hikes, fishing, ski resorts, and so much more. Shadow Mountain Cabin is our family getaway and we like sharing it with our guests when we are not there.
I like traveling and stayed in many Airbnbs. I know what a host should do to create a comfortable guest experience. Which means you’ll get high service and quality.
