Clean and comfy! Escape to this charming 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath vacation home that feels like a treehouse nestled in the North Georgia mountains. Perfect for a relaxing getaway, this unique retreat combines modern comforts with the warmth of Dahlonega’s local charm. Blue Door, Dahlonega provides a comfy and clean home base for your special occasion or relaxing getaway.

Step into the second-floor great room, where you’ll feel like you’re perched among the treetops. The open-concept living area flows into a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing meals after a day of adventure. Unwind on the comfy full-size pullout couch with a gel foam mattress, perfect for movie nights—just bring your streaming passwords! The adjacent deck is your front-row seat to seasonal sunsets over the trees, creating the perfect ambiance after a day of hiking, wine tasting, or panning for gold. A convenient half bath completes the upstairs.

Downstairs, you’ll find two cozy bedrooms: one with a queen bed and the other with a full bed, both designed for restful nights. A full bathroom on the first floor ensures convenience for all guests.

Every piece of artwork in Blue Door is crafted by local Dahlonega artists, sourced from the vibrant Town Square, adding a touch of authentic mountain culture to your stay.

We love hosting canine guests! Please be sure to add your dog to your reservation so the $65 pet fee is applied. Dogs brought to the property without being included in the reservation will incur a $100 unauthorized pet fee.

The house was very clean and in excellent condition, the host was excellent, I gave the host a heads up that we was going to be getting in very late (midnight) and the host told me there would be lights left on for us, it was a very nice place to stay.

The property and the host were both wonderful. The house was super clean and the host provided certain items for both my wife and I as well for our dog. Comforts of home in a great location close to downtown Dahlonega and Montaluce Winery and restaurant. We would definitely stay there again.

The house was as listed. Clean with thoughtful extras like coffee pods, tea bags, honey, sound machine, even an umbrella which came in handy with a last minute storm.

My hubby and I stayed here to celebrate our 41st anniversary. It's a great little place and everything you need has been provided. The bath towels are so soft and really big. That we absolutely loved! It was nice a quiet and reminded us of being home on the 10 acres we own. This is a great place to stay.

The Blue Door door was amazing. We thought it had just been built and ready for renting because everything was pristine. Kim is a terrific host. She sent wonderful ideas about where to visit while in Dahlonega. All beds, including the sleeper sofa were very comfortable. The amenities were great, and the provision of coffee, creamer, etc. was very appreciated.Also wanted to re-thank Kim for allowing us in a bit early. Can’t wait to come back!

Such a cute place. We loved the coffee and tea selection, it was so much more than we were expecting. I also like the bedrooms being on the first floor. The extra touch of being decorated for Christmas was also appreciated. It was very easy to find and close to town.

Great Stay

Great Time behind the Blue Door!

Awesome space that was cozy and well maintained. Would highly recommend a few nights there while heading out to the area Wineries!
