Amazing stay

Our stay was awesome. The house is in a great location. The house itself was extremely clean and well organized. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely house that had all we needed for our trip. Convenient location that puts you near everything but not in the middle of downtown. Host was fantastic!

Great place

This house is located on a quiet street close to the main road, grocery store and beach! Clean, welcoming, beachy. Would love to stay here again.

Long weekend in Highlands (and Sandy Hook)

My wife and I had a great stay. The cottage had everything we needed and a nice outdoor space. Location was also convenient. Mia and Tony were also great hosts - very friendly! Would stay again.

Great little home away from home

This was out first time in Highlands and we loved exploring the area. Bonus was an excellent stay - loved the neighborhood, close to lots of shops and restaurants. Bagel place in town was excellent. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and linens. I actually had the best sleep during my stay. Great little place.

Nice gateway

Property is very nice and cozy exactly like the pictures, looks bigger in reality, except for the bathroom, which we find out to be very small. It is equipped with all you need in the kitchen. Property is close to restaurants, seabright and sandy hook beaches by car. Only bad thing is we noted a couple utensils , plate and cup to be a bit dirty, which you don’t expect when you are paying for additional cleaning fee. Maybe it was left that way by the last occupant? overall we liked the stay and would come back.

They are actually a charcoal stainless and we’ve noticed water droplets have stained them. They are not actually “dirty”. We are replacing them with a set. We take pride in the cleanliness of our cottages. Thank you again for your review.

Second time staying at this adorable cottage, and we absolutely loved it again! We hope to return in the future. The hosts are incredibly responsive, kind, and welcoming. The home is very well-equipped, comfortable, and most importantly to us…CLEAN! Everything was wonderful. Thank you again for providing such a lovely place to stay!

The hosts are SO friendly and responsive. The cottage is in pristine condition and the low-key interior design makes for a very comfortable, peaceful, and delightful stay. The cottage is simply gorgeous, both the inside and the outdoor spaces. The big kitchen is fully stocked, so we were able to cook (indoors and outdoors) whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. Street parking was readily available at all times. The quiet neighborhood (with deer!) was so lovely. It was such a peaceful place to hang out hats. We slept so well in the super-comfortable bedrooms. The living room was MADE for lounging in relaxment and calm. This is definitely the best rental we have booked in Highlands, and we have been going there every summer for almost 20 years.

The cottage was perfect for our stay with 2 younger kids! The cottage itself was clean, well stocked, and had enough space for hanging out and eating inside or outside. We loved our breakfast and coffee on the patio each morning! The location can’t be beat - it is within walking distance, including for our 4 & 6 year old kids, of everything in Highlands (park, coffee, restaurants, small beach) and is on a very quiet street. It also has easy access to Sandy Hook with a short drive across the bridge. The property also has some beach essentials, which was important for us as we flew from out of state.Mia was a wonderful host! She had great communication leading up to our visit, providing check-in information well before arrival, and was quick to respond to messages during our stay. The check-out instructions were clear and very basic.Thank you, Mia!

Cute cottage in a perfect location. Host was very nice and great, quick communication. Plenty of good restaurants in town for dinner. Easy access to NYC via the ferry, which is very close. Friendly, quiet, nice neighborhood!
