This is a very safe family-oriented neighborhood. It is centrally located and private. Very close to everything! Enjoy your morning coffee on the screened in back porch or one of the two decks. The home is on a wooded, natural lot and has a large fenced in back yard.

This cottage was perfect for our weekend trip to Tallahassee. Very clean and comfortable, and the host was always responsive when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again next football season!

There are some openings to the outside that need to be closed up to keep the outside bugs outside. The driveway really needs to be replaced, I’m glad we had a truck. The hosts were great, we locked ourselves out and they were very accommodating to get us access to a key. We had a. Great time listening to some of their vinyl record collection. Definitely a unique architectural experience. Exterior stairs could use some repair attention

Charming Weekend Getaway in TallahasseeWe had a wonderful stay at this charming and quaint house in Tallahassee. The wooded surroundings were absolutely beautiful, peaceful, quiet, and the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend. The location is ideal, giving us easy access to everything we wanted to do in town while still feeling tucked away in nature.The house itself was cozy and welcoming, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene retreat in Tallahassee.

Clean, comfortable, and charming! The home is in a great central location, making it easy to get around and explore Tallahassee. I was in town for work but appreciated how close it was to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. A perfect spot for both business and leisure travelers.

Cozy place. Comfortable with a host who makes an effort to make you feel welcome. It is a 2 bedroom, one bath structure, basic but well equipped. I will stay there again.

Campus Cottage

We love this place! It was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. We call it our campus cottage, as it has a wonderful cottage feel and it's an easy , quick 7 minute drive to FSU campus where our grandson was attending band camp. Our hosts couldn't have been more thoughtful and kind. We're looking forward to our next visit. Thank you.

Cabin getaway

Everything was fine, the cabin is the cutest. The driveway was very rough and using the stove triggered the alarm. Other than that, very nice.

Everything we expected

We came down for a tour of Florida State University. The location was great. The cottage was clean and very nice. The rental process was very easy and the owners were very responsive when we chatted with them. I would definitely recommend this home and I hope it's available again when we return for the next steps at FSU.

Your home is just as cute as can be it would definitely stay again when I'm passing through Tallahassee. The only suggestion I can make is I'm an amputee and maybe a small shower chair would be helpful The stairs were very easy to get in thanks again for letting us stay with you

It was a great experience! Location was great with multiple restaurants and stores near by. FSU is less then 10 minutes with heavy traffic. The property having a Christmas tree made it very seasonal.

Can’t recommend this house enough if taking in an FSU event. Conveniently located to everything and the host is responsive and phenomenal.

Quaint & Cozy

Very clean and comfortable. All was great except only 1 toilet. For just a couple it’s good. But if 2 couples, you’ll need a lot of coordination. The driveway is horrible and very rough. But other than that, the house was great.

Good value for the price.

I take my reviews very seriously because they affect the host's income and also affect people’s happiness on vacation. I expect accurate reviews and so I give accurate reviews. That being said I believe in reviewing a property based on the price. I don’t expect a $100/ night property to be the quality of a $300/ night property. So, here it goes. Things outside host's control: The cottage is in a loud area. Many loud cars (teenage type loud mufflers) go up and down the streets all day and night. Road in front is busy with no sidewalks. Walking can be a bit risky. Things host can control: The property listing says spa/hot-tub. There is none. Driveway is in horrible shape. Small cars could have trouble. Loose gravel and rock hard to walk on without slipping. We had a truck and still struggled turning around. No outside grill. Property is a bit old and shows its age. Positives: For the money it is a good value. Clean enough for me but not spotless. Host responds quickly to messages. Convenient to anywhere in Tallahassee. Nicely decorated. Welcoming small touches like a bowl of candy and turn table with records. Kitchen stocked well enough but could be better. For the money I would rent again, but only if host provided an outdoor gas grill and did something about the driveway. It should be black-topped or paved.
