Convenient to Shaw neighborhood. Comfortable and clean apartment with very comfortable beds! Responsive host, answered my questions right away. I would definitely recommend the apartment.

The place was really clean and great for two couples. If you are over six feet tall look for someplace else to stay--the ceiling is VERY low. The beds are comfortable and there are bedside tables on both sides of the beds. The entry is in an alleyway, and there's some sketchy wildlife out there, and some odd steps, so be careful if you're finding it in the dark. You can hear every footstep and conversation from upstairs. The neighborhood is quiet and interesting to walk around. Cool architecture, great bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and a fun farmers market nearby on Sundays. We had an event at the convention center and were able to walk there pretty easily, and there's lime bikes and capital share bikes all over the place. We walked to the mall too, but that's a couple miles.

Lovely Spot for a DC trip

Great centralized location and well mantainee property, perfect for a few friends or 2 couples. The check in and communication were outstanding and the owners were super responsive to our needs.

Cozy basement flat

We had a lovely stay in Washington and our hostess kind to let us check in early. Would recommend this place. Ideal to explore Washington easy to find and had good amenities. Thanks for hosting us

Everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Kamila was a wonderful host. Everything was exactly as specified in the details of the apartment. Definitely would recommend staying there to others.

Very cute apartment in a great location.

I was concerned staying downtown DC for our trip, but this apartment was very comfortable and fully furnished with everything we needed. We were able to walk almost anywhere. Parking was super convenient and never had an issue finding a spot. Owner was very responsive to us as well. Highly recommend!

Jewel of a stsy

So nice to have a haven to stay in DC while visiting our daughter. Wuiet neighborhood, with easy parking. Apartment was comfortable and very clean. Hosts were very easy to communicate with, and helpful . We will definitely use again.

Nice neighborhood

Clean and private apartment. The beds were very soft. There was a great expresso machine and lots of towels. Nice kitchen and very comfortable space. Steps going down to the apartment were steep but there were only 2 or 3.

Great Location

We enjoyed being fairly close to the capital area and a little over 1/2 mile to hop on a subway. Many food options and a grocery store within walking distance. We really only spent nights in the apartment, but everyone seemed to sleep well! Everything was clean and ready for us.

Excellent location

Two blocks from where our son lives. It was not fancy, but very clean and exactly as advertised. We will try to stay again when we go back. A Keurig would be a nice addition.

DC Girls Trip

I went on a girls weekend trip with some friends to explore DC. This place was a perfect spot for us to stay for the price. Not as close as if you stayed at a hotel downtown but it was easy to grab an Uber or walk to the metro. The place was very clean and had everything we needed! The host was lovely and always responsive.

The entrance had a few surprise steps but overall a great location. We found close free parking. It’s a basement apartment that had ample paper products and linens. Also we had good water pressure.

Family visit to DC

Good location in quiet neighborhood. Very secure alley entry. LOVED the convenience of the washer/dryer as our stay was for several nights. Only complaint was the upstairs child running around in the mornings and evenings which was occasionally quite loud. But aside from that it was an excellent stay!

Great Value in Good Location

Strengths:•Easy and free street parking•Convenient to Capital One Arena, Convention Center, and Shaw neighborhood•Nicely equipped apartment with comfortable beds•Lots of seatingWeaknesses:•Basement apartment with low ceilings – not for tall people – cramped bathroom, and poor sound isolation from floor above– difficult locks and doorknobs– entry is from rat-infested alleyOverall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a very good base for traveling to the Mall, Penn Triangle, Columbia Heights, Shaw, etc.

Fall Break in DC

Nice basement apartment not far from The Mall. Convenient to walk or try public transportation. My family enjoyed our stay (2 adults, 3 kids). Careful if you're over 6 ft tall. And read all parking signs.

Great place for <6 ft crowd :)

Clean and functional. Good value. Basement location makes for a low ceiling. Not disturbing but us two 6' ers had to watch our heads to keep from bumping.

Historical Stay

Great location in an area of beautiful historical brick homes close to Capitol, White house, museums and more. Good restaurants very close to flat. It is a basement apartment so lighting is somewhat limited. Noise from upper flat was an issue at times.
